So being 6'6 do you have any issues with the adjustment of the left seat and legroom? I'm seriously looking at the Lance/ Saratoga for my next airplane. I'm about an inch shorter than you and about 285. I'm hoping that this is the one for me and my family. I just haven't had the chance to get into one to see how it feels. Definitely looks wide enough though.
I do not. I run with the seat slid all the way back on the track and locked into the last hole. Nor do I have a problem when people sit behind me, which is rare but happens from time to time.
All depends on the maintenance records. With that much time, it has to have a wing bolt inspection, not a big deal. Also I'd expect between the age of the aircraft and the total time, most of the hoses and lines have been replaced or need to be replaced. It would need a much more detailed inspection in my humble opinion.
Great walk-though, thanks
Love the Saratoga/Lance series. Only thing I don't like is the single drive on the magnetos
