I love how the shape of the extension makes the fingers/hands look different. I have short fingers but I have long stiletto nails and it makes my fingers look long and slim.
I wear mine almond to thin mine out too 💜

What should you do if the sides are thin & you can see the short nail through it? I find that the Polygel always breaks at that point.
go in with a small amount of polygel and fill the sides especially if it's too thin or the apex isn't strong.

@@Nailcou could you please share who makes the coarse but that has a really tapered cone shaped. you used it to shape/perfect the polygel along the eponychium

I think both are nice but the almond ones would look better a little longer.
I have never seen a video discussing nail shape, specifically wider nail beds. (That I have) Years ago I got acrylics and they looked terrible how they were shaped & accentuated the wider bed. They just looked and felt so uncomfortable. I've since had gels too. I was put off of extensions since & shaped & painted them in the best way I could. As a client I would have really appreciated guidance on shaping, much like hair colour & cut from a hairdresser. So pleased to have found your video on this rarely discussed topic. This ladies nails looked beautiful 😍

Anastasia! Hello! What do I do if I csnt find a dual form that goes exactly sidewall to sidewall for my thumb? I have some are close but I know you usually should choose forms that are slightly larger rather than smaller! Help! 💖
technically you can use it to get the overall shape and apex but after that go in with a small amount of polygel and fill the sides especially if it's too thin.
I truly like the coffin shape. It is elegant. How about squoval for a compromise?

I have this nail shape and I hate it. I don’t think long nails look good because it looks like it’s lifting . It just looks better with natural nails.

How do we remove nail forms after curing? Do we just move it around and it comes off, I’m so confused!
