I hope you take all of those tshirts n coveralls when you find them! Great for the homeless shelters!
    I’m
So glad you are taking all the clothes!

I take all the clothes and blankets shoes anything I think the homeless can use to them. The apartments we live in near Atlanta people throw everything away and I’m constantly loading up and delivering to the homeless camp down the road. Everybody on earth deserves to know that someone cares enough about them personally to help them out and want to see them prosper. You never know you just might be the inspiration that keeps someone alive. Folks if you get a chance tell a stranger everyday that you love them and hopefully if they’re having a bad day you turn it around.

At about 12:40, Yeah I grew up with parents who taught me how to trash dive, my dad taught me that usually when a dumpster or bin is overflowing like that to NOT touch it. He called it, "Too full to fuck with". Because when you disturb it the trash starts falling out and you're forced clean up after yourself.

Mike, I love your videos. I'm impressed by your range of knowledge and I'd like to add something to your catalog of mental resources!
When you're attempting to remove fluorescent tubes from the 2x4 light fixtures here's a very quick and easy method to remove the tubes. Step on an end wall and bend it back out of the way. When you do this the tubes almost fall out by themselves. If it's going to be scrapped anyway it doesn't matter if you mess it up a bit.
So that's it now you know everything.
    Happy scrapping and thanks again!

I have a few of them hooked up to marine deep cycle batteries and they work great with triple the running time! Hope this helps someone during a power out situation. Add a solar panel with a charge controller you can charge the batteries when the main grid power is out! There are many videos on how to to so.

Stopped and picked it up because I wouldn't want to run over it and risk kicking it up into a tire or through the floor board. Figured nobody else would like that either. I can't believe how much you find and scrap that I would have bought off you for scrap value or more. those pads are for stress relief after welding metal together. you put those pads over the welded are and use insulation to cover them and depending on the thickness and what not. you heat the metal up to about 1100 degrees let it soak for about a hour then comes back down. takes about 4 hours or so. but again it really depends on the metal and other things
