I have both with SCHD shares currently having a 9 to 1 advantage over JEPQ in number of shares. I drip the SCHD and use the dividends from JEPQ to buy more SCHD. The SCHD is dripping over 150 shares a year while the JEPQ adds another 90 something. It makes a huge difference towards getting to my target allocation of SCHD. After SCHD hits the goal I'll use the JEPQ to help grow my SCHG. Its all in an IRA.
Vanguard VTI. You can count on a net 9% with a reasonable standard deviation of 15 to 17%. Start early, be consistent and the miracle of compound growth will take over. Use time as the real basis of growth...it takes about 5 years.
It's essential to conduct thorough research, consider the long-term outlook of the companies, and diversify your investments to manage risk effectively.
Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies.
Agreed, I've always delegated my excesses to an advisor, since suffering major portfolio loss early 2020, amid covid outbreak. I'm now semi-retired and only work 7.5 hours a week, with barely 25% short of my $1m retirement goal after subsequent investments to date.
Consulting with a financial expert can provide personalized insights, entry and exit strategies and help align your investment strategy with your retirement goals.
SCHD is more tax favorable if you are young and trying to drip dividends over the course of 10-20 years. Plus no covered calls, I am in favor of SCHD and it is my main ETF with over 2000 shares.

Thanks for the breakdown! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
The answer is always "It depends." If you're 30-40 and unemployed, some combination of both might be worth looking into. Depending on the size of your investment, it allows you to not work unless you want. But it all depends on what your lifestyle requires.
get both and keep them they work get together it is all about dividends to help with "animal spirtits" mindset!! i own 2200shares of schd and 1050 in jepq good video
What about if SCHD doesn't continue to raise dividend? Because you can't bank on them constantly increasing dividend, there is definitely a cap on it. I really don't see SCHD EVER paying all the way up to 11%🤷
Fantastic video! I have an unrelated question: I have the OKX Wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (job priority warm lab border boil monkey manage palace fiber weird ask). Could you help me move them to Binance?
I'm confused, it seems like JEPQ is head and shoulders better than SCHD. It had better yield and the underlying stocks makes the fund grow faster than SCHD. It seems like JEPQ grows at around the rate of the SPY and has one of the best yields around. What am I missing?
Yeah I as well. Tracking the Total return since inception which includes a 2022 downturn and bull market. Jepq has outperformed greatly. It wouldn't have been as much if healthcare and energy weren't doing so poorly.

yeah that's a good path, focus on a good strategy, relax back and watch it compound within the years. In good time you'll see returns.

I have a little bit of both, and I love seeing my JEPQ dividend every month. I grabbed SCHD after the split and it hasn’t impressed me yet.

I'm surprised that this name is being mentioned here, I stumbled upon one of her clients testimonies on CNBC news last week...

SCHD has been struggling again..

I'm going to start a position in JEPQ next year.
JEPQ for me being a couple years til retirement I want the income to live on…but I own both as well as JEPI, DIVO, SPLV, DGRO
What about if SCHD doesn't continue to raise dividend? Because you can't bank on them constantly increasing dividend, there is definitely a cap on it. I really don't see SCHD EVER paying all the way up to 11%🤷
DGRO is more of a dividend growth fund. SCHD is more of a high dividend fund. This is why I own both.
I’m 64 I know witch is my winner but I will mix both with a less percentage for SCHD
SCHD because I don't trust JPMorgan.

VOO + JEPQ is a much better investment imo than SCHD.
From my understanding they work great together beacuse schd doesnt have alot of tech companies. I just recently added JEPQ
yes they both work together and purchase nvidia and main/ stay away from o stocks. good luck dollar average cost1! be consistent.

@@veteran31pb reality income buy it if below 50 day moving target
ever notice that everyone has their own favorite four letter etf? and they always put them up against schd?
Hello. If I had $2m and wanted to make between $120-$200k annually through Dividend ETFs which would be the best options?
Gpix, gpiq, schd.
