Dive into the Rhythmic Journey of Mr. Lenny on CTA - Cleaning The Airwaves! 🇰🇪
Uncover the musical tapestry woven by Kenyan Afro-Hip Hop artist Lenson Njuki Wang’ang’a, widely known as Mr. Lenny, since his debut in 2000. Introduced to the world of music by his friend and early collaborator Nelson kiama aka Dr. Paper, Mr. Lenny officially embarked on his musical odyssey under the Sratch Records label where they released their first single, "Daddy Has To Know". In the quest to share new and unconventional sounds, Lenny faced the challenge of finding studios willing to record his unique style. The turning point came at Entertainment with a Difference (EWD), owned by Jimmy, where he recorded the breakout single 'MCs.' Collaborations with Mr. Googz and Vinny Banton on the remix of 'Githurai' not only propelled Lenny's career but also reintroduced him to Ogopa DJ, connecting him with musicians across East Africa.
Building on this momentum, Lenny established a fruitful partnership with Kunguru, resulting in hits like 'African Woman' and 'Baby Don’t Go Away.' Collaborating with the late E-sir on 'Kamata,' Lenny also delved into independent projects, releasing the single 'Cash Money.' The Kenyan music scene witnessed Lenny's meteoric rise as he, along with fellow artists, toured East Africa and various European nations to showcase the richness of Kenyan music. After a hiatus in 2007 for business ventures, Lenny made a triumphant return in 2018 with 'Randa Randa' at Grandpa Records. Currently working with different producers on his second album, Mr. Lenny has rekindled his presence in the live music scene, gracing notable events like the GoDown Gig and PRC concerts.

Mr Lenny's story makes me appreciate my folks & also why free education should be a priority
Wueh this story😭😭
Parents,I hope you are learning a thing or two
😢😢
It's sad😢😢😢
😢😢😢😢I have shed tears for the younger Lenny. You went through helll in the hands of the one person ( your dad )who was meant to protect you.
Wueeh! Are we still talking about Mr.Lenny the singer ama someone else?
Listening to Mr. Lenny talking about his father is so surreal and the fact that we were neighbors for a while and could not tell ... And was going through the same, nikama anapiga story yangu ... Alafu where he even doubted if that was his real father because how can someone be cruel to their child for no unprovoked!? ... Anyway, we made it, and we are doing better, because we know better
Maaaannn, Mr. Lenny, you brought sooo much joy to our lives and to hear the story of where it all started ....
And to see the gentleman you've always been in our industry. No drama. I'm speechless.
Love the humbleness of this guy while explaining.

I had to hit pause to go kiss my son and express my love for him. Weh! What a story Mr. Lenny.
This whole time I am wondering how his dad is not affording quality life for them and he is a Dr atakama ni quack bana 🤔. Dude had issues waaah!
Pole sana for what you went through in your childhood.
I went to the same school manze…damn!
Good job but sound levels ndio imebaki sasa. The intro is too loud compared to the other audio. On some Richies voice is louder than the guests....in Savaras voice....balance....
