If the candidate also belongs to a reserved category, the admission process becomes even more favorable. This is particularly true for admission to less competitive IIMs. I’m curious why she was chosen for an interview. It might be more inspiring to interview individuals who have succeeded against challenging odds, rather than those who appear to have multiple advantages.

I am a bsc bio student, my subject are botany,+Zoology+ chemistry,+ inventory management+ communication skills and intrested in creative art, writing and business, I want to know is their any disadvantage of being bio student and i will get any good placement from iim like i am also doing intership ( non profit organization) so that it will beneficial for me and in future i am going to do more intership so which type intership i have to do because in bio related field i have some knowledge but not in management area I am doing intership and will do in future to get experience I am a female obc non engineer student
GLIM C anyday better than Sambalpur. This year it has even outperformed Vizag in terms of placements. Plus almost 37 students unplaced in S whereas in GLIMC its 19. The inflated salary in S is just because of 2 companies which everyone’s aware about else the average salary would almost be around 10/11lpa. Just check with the firms visiting S and GLIMC and you’ll get the answer
