I just wanted to tell you I Keep your videos going in my sewing room often. The advice is so good and you explain it all so well. It feels like i have a sewing friend right here with me. 👍
Beautiful bag, love the fabric. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your immense knowledge and skills and for being such a wonderfully thorough teacher!
Lovely Christine, I love your videos and your instructions. Thank you very much for your videos. My English is getting better and better, by watching your videos lovely greetings from cologne send you Danni
Hi Christine, Thank you so much for the video. I finished my bag today and although I had to make the zipper panel twice, the second time I nailed it! I added a new skill to my experience!❤
It was nice seeing the instructions for the zipper and the welt pocket again. Really liked how you offered those in separate videos first. Thanks for sharing your know how with us.
That's beautiful! I love the fabric. I got a little confused what to do with the zip tab while doing the last pass of the top. I'll just rewatch it and figure it out. The pocket is perfect for key cards pens, etc. I think I would put in a lobster clasp to hang lanyards or car keys. I think I would have one with a zip and one with magnetic snaps. It may depend on the fabric I chose. A more elegant fabric would need a zip, a more youthful fabric gets a snap. Thanks Christine 😊
A great bag Christine. I wish I would have seen this a couple of months ago when I wash making my grandaughter a computer bag for school. I will certainly give this ago..when I get home from holidays I'm in Mildura and I hope to see you in a couple of weeks...all being well...
You have created a beautiful bag that I am definitely going to try. Love the fabric! Simple instructions with some great new skills to add. Thank you Christine 😊 💐 👍
Great looking bag. You are such a good instructor. I think $55.00 is a 'deal'. Thank you for sharing how you do this so carefully. Nice fabric choice as well - fun but still a bit sophisticated 😊👍
Like the bag very much! Another great make and tutorial. However.... The zip prep and insertion was a bit fast for me so I'll have to watch over and over until it sinks in! Lol 😆
I just love the stuff you make and with such presition and uour tutorials helps a lot❤ i see you have metal logos on your bags wich looks stunning how do you fasten them on the bag?
Hi Christine……thanks for this tutorial. Where do you order your metal labels from, please? There are soooo many suppliers online but no way of knowing the quality! have cloth ones to inset in side seams but I want to “up the swishness” by adding a metal label on the front!
I'm using a ProSew machine in this video Carla, but I also use the Jack A4E & Jack A5E machines. I've done reviews on the ProSew and Jack which you'll find in my playlist. ProSew is available in Australia, whilst the Jack is available all over the world. If you want to check them out, here's an affiliate link, and the coupon code "Christine" can give you a discount on some models. 🙂sewingequipmentunlimited.com?sca_ref=3331723.FkqlVF0f5Y

I like your thinking Sharon😀
Lovely bags and well explained. If one had enough fabric, a matching cosmetic pouch could be made.
Great idea! Sadly I've used it all up😁
Thanks for showing how to make the set in zipper panel. ❤😊

Thank you ! Getting my sew jo back ! How big is the finished bag ? X
Sally, the finished size is approx. 14" w x 12 1/2" h
Looking for the label information, I have missed it somewhere. Could you post it again?
Edith, there are links to both my label suppliers in the description box of videos😁
Is there a way to do a recessed zipper without one of the ends hanging on the outside?
Yes Barbra. At the other end, I'd put a zipper tab on it so the slider didn't come off🙂
Hi Christine……thanks for this tutorial. Where do you order your metal labels from, please? There are soooo many suppliers online but no way of knowing the quality! have cloth ones to inset in side seams but I want to “up the swishness” by adding a metal label on the front!
Hi Judy, there's a link to both metal and fabric labels in the description box of the videos😁
May I ask..........What kind of sewing machine are you using?
