The amount of new game titles still being developed for the Sega Genesis from indie developers is insane. I hope Sega sees it and does something to help further the Sega renaissance.
I was always a SEGA fan 1st and foremost. My 1st main console was the Genesis, followed by the Saturn which cemented my love. I owned the Dreamcast as well, but by that time I played N64 more and Gamecube became my go to after that. i played PlayStation mostly at kiosks and friends until PS2 and didn't go back to PS1 until a bit later. Caught up on XBox last and realised they had a lot of SEGA games and ports. Saturn is still my most nastalgic system with favorites like Nights into Dreams, Die Hard Arcade Panzer Dragoon, Lunacy and Virtual Fighter 2. Also, the Saturn version of Tomb Raider is still my favorite version and it was the 1st 3D world that I was enraptured by and loved exploring as a kid. There was nothing like it!
A Streets of Rage tv show set in the 80s or 90s would be great. I wish they would do that. A Miami Vice type show. I wouldn't really want it to be set in modern times.
I got bad news, it looks like Sega is going to delist a bunch of games soon from digital storefront. I heard news from Nintendolife that Sega is going to delist the Sega Genesis Classics Collection from the Switch eShop, Xbox, and PSN soon this December 6.
Men support men. Don't be afraid to ask for help. I loved Sega growing up mainly because its all I had. lol Ren and Stimpy, Mutant League Football/Hockey, Streets of Rage, Sonic..
Wow, NGL, I came here out of curiosity, as I thought I was one of the only ones recoiling back to old retro games from the 80's and 90's, and left enlightened as a "new dad" (of a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old) and I've been struggling with so many things, mentally and emotionally. My theory is that, both things (retro gaming and the struggles of a family man) go hand in hand, as retro gaming brings me back to simpler times (before responsibilities and before software beta-culture where everything constantly needs an update). I'm definitely subbing to your other channel. Keep up the good work brother!
The question I have is where are these new Sega games - they’ve gone awfully quiet since they were announced - can’t help but think they are coming to the Switch successor
I remember, years and years ago, Adam Koralik had a video up talking about Sega reviving all these franchises, and that he knew and had seen some development of these games. Now Adam has many links in Sega over in the US and in Japan, so I would trust him (watching him since 2012). But... that was a long time ago and there hasnt been any remasters or new games, just the usual Sonic and Yakuza games. So, I don't know if or when these rumored games will see the light of day.
Last I heard Lionsgate will be developing a Streets of Rage movie, with the writer of the John Wick movies writing and producing it. So it sounds promising thus far.
Great video bro. I’ve been more of a Nintendo guy but I think it’s finally time I start collecting for the Sega Genesis. Interesting Idea about the new channel bro, looking forward to it.
Been collecting Sega since I was a kid. I’m happy they’re revisiting some of their classic IPs. So pumped up for the new Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, Crazy Taxi and Gold Axe games. Hope make another Panzer Dragoon game or Phantasy Star.
Quck question. How are you starting a new channel emphasizing community and opinion starting when you don't comment on or like your followers input on this channel ?

The Dreamcast is such an awesome system. Sega should try their hand at a console again in the future.
It won't happen. SEGA is a cowardly company.

Acknowledging their past success and developing for the Genesis are two entirely different things. It'd be stupid of them to develop for that.
@@JelloFluoridelol you can do a little bit of everything

Shinobi is my all-time favorite IP so my excitement level is highest for that game. I'm definitely excited about all the franchises they are reviving.
