Shin-Kemigawa Station (新検見川駅, Shin-Kemigawa-eki) is a passenger railway station located in Hanamigawa-ku, Chiba, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
The Sōbu Line (Rapid) (Japanese: 総武快速線, Japanese pronunciation: [Sōbu-kaisoku-sen]) is a railway service on the Sōbu Main Line in Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). It connects Tokyo Station in Chūō, Tokyo with Chiba Station in Chūō-ku, Chiba via the cities of Ichikawa, Funabashi, and Narashino.
The Chūō-Sōbu Line (Japanese: 中央・総武緩行線, Hepburn: Chūō-Sōbu-kankō-sen) is a railway line that runs through Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Part of the East Japan Railway Company (JR East) network, the line operates on separate tracks along the right-of-way of the Chūō Main Line (Chūō Line (Rapid)) and Sōbu Main Line (Sōbu Line (Rapid)), providing service between Mitaka Station in the cities of Mitaka and Musashino and Chiba Station in Chiba.
The term Kankō (緩行, lit. "slow run") distinguishes local trains on the Chūō-Sōbu line from rapid service trains running on the Chūō Main Line between Mitaka and Ochanomizu and on the Sōbu Main Line between Kinshichō and Chiba.

地元です。

新検見川には親戚の家があり、子供の頃何度も遊びに行きましたが、駅から少し歩いただけで落花生畑があるようなのどかな場所でした。
栄えてからも何度か行ったことはありますが、商店街も新しくきれいになっていますねー❣
でも駅の様子などは昔のままで、やっぱり変わってないと安心します(*´ω｀*)
それに東京と違い、高いビルが少ない所も千葉っぽさを感じますw
