i havent read the light novel but from what i hear of what people say, he doesnt use the thrusters anymore after he gets his wings back (cause he gives it back to sky raker, i think?). Man was too broken with both the wings and the thrusters that they had to nerf him.
That little bastard never should’ve gotten to be a burst linker in the first place! Both Nomi and his brother were nothing but a blight on the accelerated world and they should’ve been taken care of long before Haru had to come along and exterminate that bug.
One of the best parts about this? Nomi will have no memory of this place, or of the game. This game that has caused so much hatred and strife to grow in his heart (a lot of it because of his brother), and its basically been cut out of his life. Accel World was the cancer, and Haru was the surgeon.

Until he secretly grinded so that he could beat his brother and steal all his points, thus ending his game. Combine that with the environment of the accel world and you get the douche we see in the series. But remove that and we get a perfectly nice kid.
When I first saw this I found it cool that he didn't only use his natural wings he just got back but chose to even use the gale thruster in combination with his wings to get even more speed than he would with his wings only.

This was the most satisfying end to a Anime villain that I have ever seen. Kudos to the creator of Accel World, this piece of shit got everything he deserved in the end.
Is even more impressive when you realize that Dusk Taker was at full HP thanks to the Citron Call from Lime Bell Crow straight oneshoted the guy (almost hehe)
While most fans may complain about Chiyu healing Noumi it actually was the right move as it allowed Haru to get his wings back even stronger then ever.

Taku is a close range avatar but was given a ranged weapon, the pile driver. Symbolizing his fear and hatred towards those who toyed and hurt him in his Kendo Club. Chiyu really treasured the time where Her, Haruyuki and Taku were really best friend. When Haru's family broke apart, and his bullying started, their relationship was dwindling, almost broken. So her duel avatar gave her the power to rewind time. So if we considers the power of duel avatar came from the person's trauma, then Kuroyukihime's avatar Black Lotus, was given the power to cut and severs anything because her true nature as a loner and distrust towards other people. Maybe in the past she had an experience where she lost trust towards other people or she might be betrayed by her friend or family, that's why she refuse to form a bond or severing ties with others, hence her duel avatar doesnt have palm to hold onto something.
Avatar's color, name and overal appearance are derived from trauma but abilities are from desires, lime bell's citron call is her desire to return time then she, haru and take was still kids and was happy
I hate villain like the guy who lost, they came in pick a fight thinking it's a sure win. A true fighter accept the consequences of losing before the battle, trying to fight without stake is the same as being a coward.

Here the guy entered a mostly even battle and, upon losing, decided that he didn’t want to face the consequences of starting the fight. If the 14 year old started the fight with the pro fighter he would also need to face the consequences of his actions.
The best part is when the villain is defeated and his last moments are him pitiful cry out for mercy just to be killed. Villains like him get a thrill from killing pleading people so to receive the same treatment is karma at its finest. And the satisfaction! My god
He also breaks down easily . . . but I guess that's why he can even fly . . . since the avatars are designed off of trauma, the stronger abilites usually come from those whose lives totally sucked.
The epilogue film Infinite World kind of shows what a Lv. 8 Silver Crow is capable of and let's just say if you thought Silver Crow at Lv. 4 was borderline OP as heck let's just say Lv. 8 Silver Crow is definitely in the OP scale of characters.

When a person has done terrible things, relishes in the despair his power brings, yet still cannot see that his ways are wrong and instead believes that it can save him, what else can you do in this moment? Forgiving him cannot do justice to the people he's hurt, and locking him away is equally as cruel as he clearly is a glutton for punishment. As such, the only way to "save him" is to "end him". Man, such a dilemma and it was handled perfectly here.
Ive never had such vitriol for a villain until Seiji Nomi, he took away Haru's Wings. Something that gave him meaning. He nearly beat him using Chrome Disasters power accidentally, but satisfying to see him get obliterated. Amazing twist as to what Lime Bells Citron Call actually does.
I don't know why everyone is complaining that Haru is fat. Lets face it, there are fat people in the world. Shocker I know. Lots of fat people play video games, another shocker. Personally I like the change. How often is the protagonist a fat guy. Let them have one. Also comparing this to SAO is dumb. Completely different. Go watch Log Horizon and see which one is more like SAO.

Actually, my problem isn't about the fact that he's small and fat, but the fact that he just doesn't fit with the rest of the casting, the way he's drawn, his eyes, his proportions that are not even humanly possible. Even if the concept is interesting, there is a middle ground between a little fat guy, and a fucking hamster.

Even though he was a dick, I can't help but feel a little remorse for Noumi. Growing up with a abusive older brother who made him work like a slave both IRL and VR, there was literally no escape from his pain. Every day he had to work for his brother in giving him burst points or he would face getting beaten up. Their parents probably never even cared about their kids and just brushed it off as "Roughhousing." Now that I think of it, every single brain burst player has a rough life either dealing with abusive families or trauma, Brain burst seems like their only escape from their harsh realities. Maybe that's what the Research society is doing. They are trying discover the creator of Brain burst without reaching level 10 so they can keep their power well into their adulthood, as Noumi had done. I think that the creator is too smart for them though and could be right under their noses. As Kirito once said "There's nothing more boring then watching another person play a RPG." He could be burst linker himself **h********* ***g**

Though I doubt there's much he can do with just his upper bod-" Execution: "... Wait... Did that just happen?" I'm glad about it. Not only was it new for a protagonist, but that little piece of turd deserved it.
If sky raker gave haru the enhanced armament instead of only lending it to him, then I think it would be fair to say that haru would be virtually invincible.

Actually, my problem isn't about the fact that he's small and fat, but the fact that he just doesn't fit with the rest of the casting, the way he's drawn, his eyes, his proportions that are not even humanly possible. Even if the concept is interesting, there is a middle ground between a little fat guy, and a fucking hamster.

One of the few times I found myself actually screaming while watching a show.
Even though he was a dick, I can't help but feel a little remorse for Noumi. Growing up with a abusive older brother who made him work like a slave both IRL and VR, there was literally no escape from his pain. Every day he had to work for his brother in giving him burst points or he would face getting beaten up. Their parents probably never even cared about their kids and just brushed it off as "Roughhousing." Now that I think of it, every single brain burst player has a rough life either dealing with abusive families or trauma, Brain burst seems like their only escape from their harsh realities. Maybe that's what the Research society is doing. They are trying discover the creator of Brain burst without reaching level 10 so they can keep their power well into their adulthood, as Noumi had done. I think that the creator is too smart for them though and could be right under their noses. As Kirito once said "There's nothing more boring then watching another person play a RPG." He could be burst linker himself **h********* ***g**

I'd like to see a video for anime villains who thought they were going to rule everything or thought they were invincible and then the protagonist or someone just as kickass comes along and throws them the freaking middle finger. Type guys in my opinion would be Tohru Adachi from Persona, Oberon aka Sugou from SAO and Gilgamesh from Fate whatever.

Sugou thought he was free to do whatever he wanted in both reality and ALO because he had control over the system, Nomi thought he could be a color king because he could steal other avatars powers and Gilgamesh thought he was invincible because his gates of Babylon was so difficult to bypass. Guess what though, each one of them started panicking, whining like a little bitch about not having as much power as someone else or acting like the sorest loser just because they can’t accept they were overwhelmed by someone who isn’t a one trick pony.

Haru finished Noumi not for hatred or some kind of judgement but because Haru wants to ends Noumi's insanity and his torment so he do that to set him free. I actually like to think that even the worse and monstruous of the people can have a chance for redemption and thats why i actually hate the concept of HELL. Nobody deserves to suffer for eternity.
