i doubt they will ever make s2 of accel world because SAO is their cash grab because it's edgy it's relatable (because hubris exists) It's easy to watch, and they don't need to flesh out every single character in the anime it's about a 16-year-old boy playing god that's the entire anime to me, SAO is the baby they had with their wife and accel world was that 1 girl they had an affair with when they got bored with their wife and then they basically went back to the wife

Yes i call it that cause that is kinda exactly how to explain the MC, also the reason why the anime never got a 2nd season is due to the hate for the MC. Didnt like the MC myself but thought anime was decent, but i wouldve liked for a 2nd season of Air Gear than Accel World.
