- 2 Dragon Form Transformations In Elden Ring Shadow Of The Erdtree DLC, Dragon Hunter Great Katana & Flowerstone Gavel Weapons, Dragon Incantations such as Dragonbolt of Florissax (Incantation) and Ancient Dragon Florissax (Summon) in the Erdtree DLC . Some of the drops from defeating Bayle the dread dragon include: Igon’s Greatbow, Igon’s Helm, Igon’s Armor, Igon’s Gauntlets, Igon’s Loincloth, Igon’s Bell Bearing. Make sure to get the other dragon form without quest by completing the Domain of Dragons Painting puzzle where you will encounter a chair with a ghost. The ghost will drop the rock heart which will transform you into the ancient dragon.

Honestly, I was also interested in the lore implications,
there's a much more obvious hatred between the Wyvern Dragons we see in the lands between and the Ancient Dragons, and it's fascinating that the Dragon Communion Warriors were agents of the Ancient Dragons meant to hunt down the descendant Wyvern Dragons.
This is honestly a dope ass plot, and the Draconian race preset finally makes some damn sense

Dont wear the siver tear mask unless you're farming. It lowers your AR, so any slight boost it gives to status build up (only if your weapon has Arcane scaling)is negated by it lowering your damage. Especially with that weapon since it doesn't have arcane scaling. You're lowering your damage for nothing.

With the new patch they also changed the scaling of the dragon seal. It is now much stronger at lower stats and has a very strong new softcap at 38. Even at 30 it is much stronger then before, making it a good option for Dex/Arcane Bleed builds..
Yeap, if need mask for arcane blood loss then better use that white mask
Do note it only reduces "Physical" damage dealt. If you aren't doing physical you're fine.
@@razgriz2276 yeah, but most weapons are either physical or a mix of physical and elemental. There's few weapons that only deal pure elemental damage. I just don't see a point wearing it even for arcane builds (like I said, his weapon didn't have arcane scaling so it was doing nothing for more status build up) unless you're at low levels and haven't hit the caps on arcane. So like a low level bleed or poison build might see some benefits from it, but as the person above said the white mask is always a better choice for bleed builds.
You can still get the priestless Heart if you go to the Dragon communion altar killing igon does not affect the heart drop

Many people are complaining this DLC is too hard but from start to finish I used the colossal greatsword with giant hunt. I'm just blitzing through so many of these player sized bosses because of blood affinity and stagger.
Blasphemous blade, strength faith build, is also shredding.
Yeah this dlc is kinda free on strength builds. But on ng+ the bosses have like infinite poise 😂

was just wondering, you showed your build for Bayle and you used a few Items to increase continuous attacks... but you use a great weapon? as i could see you only use single attacks so i think you could switch out talisman and tear and it would make it easier

Ancient dragon dude was the second boss I fought! I didn’t know what should come first second third so I just went to check out the cool dragon stuff I saw in the distance. Hahaha
The dragon phantom boss in the pit has pretty low poise, so the backhand blade works very well on it. Also, that means the nokstella twin summons just leaves the boss gasping for air barely able to do anything.
I used the Beast Claw + dragon communion seal build to beat Sennesax. Had to change out my armor and stack lightning negation, though. Had multiple buffs on going in + mimic tear. Was hard AF. lol
Why didn't u use mohg talisman to increase bleed?
For Senessax I used Radahn's Great Bow, spammed the Weapon art and let my Summon keep taking aggro

You can also apply rot to him a couple times with one of the dragon breath attacks, and it’ll kill him pretty quickly too.
If you have trouble with the ancient dragon man you can use my favorite combo
Crucible aspect horns (incantation)
and ordovis sword ash of war, just remember to charge the incantation at max cuz it launches enemies to the air

For Senessax i just played the full strength build but i can totally recommend to bring the fight all the way to the back right of the room cause u definitely should avoid standing on water because of the lightning damage and spread! Standing on stone makes the boss so much easier!

Dont wear silver tear for melee!
Silver tear gives arcane but reduces all physical damage dealt. Silver mask would be for a arcane caster build doing non physical damage (as the penalty effects dragon maw, rot breath, and dragon claw as they are all physical damage)

Ok question lets say i finish the dragon pristes quest if she dissapears how to i keep geting the dragon bolt of blessing item? Also isent the Dragon bolt of blessing the same at the Dragon bolt of plassax but one is a item and the other is a incantaion and as a incatation it can not be stacked like the item can because i have stacked it with electro blessing.??
What you get from communion with the alter is separate from the 2 optional endings

I did the dragon heart and dragon katana when I fought bayle the fight was hard but so much fun I was stoked when I beat it
For me, I beat Sennesax with Lattena chipping him from a milr away and I was doing demsge with mainly the dragonscale great katana. I am a lightning build so this was the best I could do 😅
you can also get a buff from the preistess btw kinda like the buff from the deathbed maiden
I defeated everyone using nothing but my dragon breath. Ancient Dragon-Man didn't know what hit em. Lol
Little pro tip for your build against Bayle: Since the dragon’s great katana doesn’t have Arcane scaling, your arcane stat won’t affect the bleed buildup.
Used the blasphemous blade + malekith's black blade incantation and mimic tear. Malekith's black blade really works well in this fight.

The dragon great katana, also does bonus damage to dragons.. I was wo derived g where to find that damn shiny from the dragon painting
I sniped sennesax with radahns great bow... it was pretty badass not going to lie...
Honestly Sennesax and the drake before were pretty easy, i just equiped everything for fire damage i could then spammed the regular Black Flame incantation aiming at the body on horseback.

I used my putrescence cleaver on both invaders
I defeated the Dragon Men with the Bloodhound Fang. Its a great attack interruptor.
Didn't actually watch but I saved it for when I go for it with my friend. Looking forward to it!

Kind of dumb you choose between a bad spell and her spirit ash OR her form and the weapon.
Killed Sennesax by spamming dragonwound slash with the Shard of Alexander and Godfrey Icon equipped 13 times.
Bayle was just an ass, lol. Didn't help forgetting to use my physick...

Entering Shadow Keep kicks off a world state change. Before entering Shadow Keep make sure you complete any tasks for NPCs you’ve met up to this point before proceeding in. Going to Shadow Keep moves all NPCs in not their 2nd phase of their storylines and will move them all around map accordingly
The way I beat that ancient dragon I used is the Smith script weapons, the spear specifically. And I just threw it at its head.
I beat the dragons with dual great katanas and I have the dragon one in my main hand. Weapon art is really good against them

I had them fighting the whole time, however whenever the main dragon would breathe fire if a single fleck of flame touched me my health bar would EXPLODE

Everybody melts with the comet. But you have to get a good run. 9/10 they kill you but I was still able to cheese about 1/2 of all the bosses with the comet it just took 20 runs to get a good melt.

For Senessax I used spiral shard knocked him out kept spamming that’s how I beat most large bosses so far I also ran around on horse back.

So you have to do NG+ to get every spell? That sucks. Just 1 heart. And if you don't do the other quest, you miss out on some good stuff. It's too bad you can't salvage them somehow later.
I fought the ancient dragon man using the beast claws. They stagger so easily that humanoid enemies are pretty easy

I accidentally skipped the ancient dragon dude invasion because i backed away while fighting the bird and he despawned, never went back to the grace to see if he'd try again lamo, basically skipped the whole quest aside from talking to angry in pain guy who yells alot when he shoots dragons, after heading to the communion place to turn in bayles dragon heart i noticed the loot from the dragon priestess

The attacks are cool, but I still haven’t gotten anything more powerful than what I had from the base game. Kinda disappointed something like the Bayle fight wouldn’t drop a weapon as op as the weapons we already have

No theyre permanant consumables you can keep kinda like the badge u get from varre to teleport to moghs area
Quests in this game as so abysmal I don't know why people pretend like it's okay. I guess I just have to miss out on the Incantation and the Spirit Ashes from the Priestess because there's absolutely no way to ever know you're supposed to give her the stupid death berry.
Hey I think you should change up your gear a little first your mask Doesn’t help with bleed it lowers your attack. Second unless your hitting at least 3 times in a row and your combos are within a few seconds of each other you won’t proc your rotten sword insignia or your physick and using strength and dex heirlooms won’t really help much. You should really be using something like bolt drake talisman shard of Alexander turtle talisman and if your using spells either graven mass talisman or magic scorpion charm and for your physick you should use opaline hardtear and stonebarb cracktear for damage negation and to break poise easier. Your losing a lot of attack and defensive power by using the wrong gear
