I met Kenny on an Airplane, destination Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My husband and I had a first class upgrade. Kenny is one of the nicest people I have ever met. My husband told me not to make a pest of myself. But I am a pest so Kenny and I talked non stop all the way to Milwaukee. Kenny is a southern story teller. Charming yet humble. I have told this story dozens of times over the last 25 or so years, and it always makes me smile. We attended Jerry Lee's show that night at the Summerfest grounds. Kenny said hello to the nice couple he met on the flight. I couldn't believe it. This great musician gave us a shout out. Such a thoughtful man. As the croud dispersed after the outdoor concert Kenny was greeting fans. I made my way to say great show. Kenny kissed me on the cheek. Other fans were agog and for that moment I was famous. To this day, in2023, Meeting Kenny was a true high note in my life. If you read this, Kenny, I thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️...Holly.

I am 75 years old, I first saw JLL when I was 25 years in Austin Texas. By far he is my favorite entertainer. Thanks so much for posting this.

I can imagine how you can feel now, cause I'm a piano player and singer like Jerry Lee and I have a friend that play saxophone with me that is the brother that I've never had. You two were the best couple in rock n roll and country music business. You are an amazing talent, so personal, so special. You are a legend like Jerry Lee❤️
A super nice person who was also friends with the late Mack Vickery. Kenny came to our family visitation on the passing of my grandfather [ 1985 in Nashville ] I cannot say enough nice words about Kenny . He is very deserving of any recognition that comes his way and I'm very glad its happening while he is still alive.
What a humble and warm personailty Kenny has. I've always considered him as an outstanding musician. I've seen him perform live many times alongside the Killer all through the years. At 86 he still looks good and his music is as expected of an excellent level. Greetings from Brussels, Belgium
Kenny is such a humble individual what a treat to listen to him tell story's. He is a person I would love to have as a neighbor, he has 85 years of experiences. I can only imagine the places he's seen & the experiences he's had with Jerry Lee Lewis. He didn't speak of anything negative & the interviewer didn't ask any personal questions about his marriage to Jerry's sister Linda Gail Lewis. Just a clean positive interview, I really wish it would have lasted longer.
I think Kenny was telling the truth when he said that JLL was not outgoing like himself. It seems to me that JLL knew how to get along with people, but he could only be himself with family members and a few special friends.
jerry lee lewis is now dead. The big question is? Will jerry lee leave him anything after 55 years of loyal service? If not, will Kenny write an all-tell book? On a personal note, Kenny Lovelace is one of the most humblist people I have ever known and I have know him for over 40 years. It's almost impossible to ever hear anything negative about Jerry from Kenny.
