    Hello, Thank you for sharing about your life in Finland.
    I am from the U.S., although I now live in Spain. In the U.S., we have a simiilar system to that of Finland. Children of 2 or 3 years old must develop their coordination and the muscles in their hands in order to later write, therefore, they play with clay or 'playdough' and small toys to strengthen their fingers and hands. They play with blocks along with 2 other children, for example, in order to learn how to get along with others and how to negotiate. They spend a limited and specific amount of time doing different creative projects like singing, and listening to stories while still learning how to count and how to say their abcs. All of those activities are appropriate for their developmental level: sitting at a desk and working as an 8-year old would (and could) is not developmentally appropriate for those sweet, little 2 and 3 year olds.🌺🌺🌺

    When people talk about walk life balance I am listening and thinking to myself it doesn't sound any different to life elsewhere. I work even less hours in Poland. Start at 06:00 finish at 14:00, and that is with 1 hour of paid breaks too. (30 minutes lunch) + 30 minutes break for time away from computer screen. Plus remote work is accepted here more than elsewhere in Europe. I can spend much more time with my children than staying late in the office or commuting back and forth through traffic.

      You can apply to jobs that don't require Finnish language and still not get job offer. It all depends on how to you package your CV and project yourself during interview

    • @leopartanen8752
      @leopartanen8752 2 года назад +14

      CV + application letter is the key factor.
      The start of the application letter is the most important, since if it starts poorly, some of the recruiters won't read it to the end. It's good to start with a short introducing of yourself, like one sentence (Hello, I am "occupation" from "residence".).
      You should avoid words such as "hard-working", instead prefer words such as "motivated". In praising yourself, stick to the facts and illustrative examples to back them up. Those are important when you tell them an example what you have done (I am good at that since I have done this before).
      It's good to tell what you expect from the company and why you want to work there. Tell them what you offer to them: "why should they hire you?". You can tell about your passions. You can tell what motivates you to get the job.
