Yes it is true really
All guys having this heavy maintenance in their heads don't know how they got it or who filled in it. All luxury vehicles are not as frequently serviced meaning, if a normal middle class vehicle is serviced @ 10k kms @ rate of apprx. 10k, but these vehicles are serviced @15k kms @ rate of 20 to 25k aoprx. I'm giving an approximate rate sometimes it can be below and sometime it can be slightly high. These all depends on your driving skills not just coz your car is luxurious. I've mid variant and elite segment but doesn't cost me except when you do a lot of monkey driving on unstabled roads. Guys luxury cars give you more comfy and better so you need to be controlled on your driving skills, you can't drive premium segment cars like any mid and lower mid segment cars. Just my experience nothing against anybody's opinion coz everyone is different, right. Try to negotiate as low as possible for out of state registered cars two things (1) transfer costs are high (2) some cities in India cars are daam cheap be good negotiator. S Class 2009 / 2010 cars you can buy @ 3 lakh max just a hint it will not cos 5 Lakh. Just do a decent business with the seller's not to get into very cheap negotiations also after all it's their money spent and brought the cars till the local place. Given the service cost, insurance fee per annual, mileage etc even the wealthiest ppl find it futile to keep one in their garage. Most of them are impulsive purchases and when the reality kicks in, they dispose those cars... virat kohli in his recent interview had admitted his mistake by owning a fleet of super cars and how he got rid of them.... any car for that matter is a liability to the owner... even a normal maruti would cost anywhere between 100 to 200 per day (considering annual insurance/periodic service cost/ tyre cost/ fuel cost/depreciation/toll etc)

At least you have to buy 7-8 years old car it is good to buy and should not go below 2015 models you have to maintain the service periodically and preferable company service it’s a good suggestion. During 60. K and 120. K Km. The services will be little expensive otherwise service will be less only.also it is mandatory to check service record/ history this will be available only cars under company service third party service don’t have the service record too always prefer company service especially for Luxury segments cars and nowadays many of the middle class peoples are buying Luxury cars.
