the problem with Candy and Hoover, is that there is a vent down the side of their dryers, so you can only place it where there is space for the air to leave the dryer at the side.
Our White Knight dryer finally packed in after about 25 years. Was a great dryer that. Just ordered one of these. If it gives us half the amount of time the white knight did I’ll be happy.
A very interesting idea with both of these dryers. Ours must boil off any water left in the clothes and vent that as vapor out the duct. But yours didn’t have a duct. Does that mean it vents directly into the room? Our dryer was made before the year 2000. Does venting this into the room make the room hotter and dusty? My sister used to have hers ducted into a filter can in the room and it made it very hot and dusty and I extended the duct to go out a window with a baffle on it and it’s much cleaner and cooler now.
These types of tumble dryers do vent into the room they are in, it is ideal for the winter time but not so good in the warm weather. Thanks for watching 👍
A decent condenser dryer ONLY puts moisture into the bater bottle and should put none at all into the room it is in. It does, however make the room very hot - unless you get one of the newer "heat pump" ones, which recycle the hot air used but they are quite a bit more expensive
Hello, I’m wondering if you’d be so kind as to help me? With this Beko tumble dryer, are you able just to turn it on for 10 minutes & then open the door? I mostly let my clothes, towels etc air dry, but like to finish them off in the dryer just to soften them up & get creases out. It’s hard to find a simple timer tumble dryer these days without all the new fangled bits (sensor drying etc) that go with it! So I’m curious to know if you can just pop it on for 10-15 mins before stopping & opening? I lost my mum suddenly last year & I’m just in the process of moving for the first time, I’ve no longer got her to ask for advice so I’m trying to do as much research as I can on washing machines & tumble dryers! Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Wonderful review, thank you so much! Laura
@@TheAllMightyGodofCod in the us they let the fluff go outside rather then catching it in a filter so that’s why they have an air duct going to to where as in the UK we just use a filter as it’s easier and more compact.

I’m just after getting one yesterday and I’m puzzled about what exactly to do with the hose as I don’t have anywhere for it and I bought this model cause I live in an apartment and I see you didn’t put your own hose on and my question is will it be ok without it and still work the same. TIA
Hello. Your machine will work without the hose just like ours does. The water will collect in the tank that is on the top left of the dryer as you look at it. This tank will need to be emptied regularly, the hose is used if you can install your dryer close to a drain i.e the kitchen sink etc. I hope this helps.
Hello. Do you mean the fluff filter? This light comes on on our machine after every load too, especially when drying towels. I hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍
Thank you for your efforts with creating and uploading this review on this dryer. I really am in the market for one. My biggest pet peeve is how often do you have to keep emptying the water compartment? I ask because I am trying to purchase this for someone with mobility issues. Cheers, Saintonis
This machine is supplied with a drain hose like those fitted to washing machines and can be connected in the same way to a kitchen waste pipe. Connected in this way you don't need to empty the tank. Hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍
You gotta love the cavity light , think I have got to the stage in life where I am not willing to buy anything that doesn't have a whole array of backlit multi colored buttons and a cavity light .
What he means is the board fucked itself up like capacitors and that means the board will no longer function at all and will not do anything until either board is replaced or a new capacitor is soldered in
Hi and thanks for watching. We have only had this tumble dryer for a few days now so we have no idea as to what long term reliability is going to be like but we do like the build quality and the way it works. We have put two loads through it and it can sense when the clothes, or towels, are dry and then end the cycle. I hope this helps?
Some years ago I rented a house that had a lot of candy/hoover appliances... Ok... They were not new and might ahd been misused but they were all crap. Candy Microwave had lots of functions but the dish didn't rotate anymore... Hoover washing machine kept stopping mid cycle and with water insife.... Hoover vacuum was totally useless and neither silent, nor powerful as the name suggested. The only decent appliance was a candy dishwasher but that was by no means any better than any thing from the competition. As a result, when I bought my house in the following year, I excluded Candy and Hoover from my list.
Why you didnt bouth a heat pump and with inverter dryer? It gona cost lesst than half to run every cycke and with inverter motor is very quiet not vibrstion and does different speed cycle like quite very slowly wool very spee and cotton a little speed up for not make the badding became a big ball! Dont even got the time display? In 2022 really? Crazy but the way here in italy they dont sell nomore elctric heating dryer to much energy required to run nobody gona buy hem eny way even because now heat pump tecnology is very cheap to buy and run like a beko will cost 340 euros in heat pump
You only get your money back from a heat pump if you’re using it regularly. Heat pumps are great, but it’s really not worth it at their current prices if you’re only using your tumble dryer a couple of times a week (if that). When he purchased this too, heat pumps were far more expensive than they are now (& they still aren’t ‘cheap’). They’re great for more than a 2 person household where you’re using it regularly, or you constantly put wet washing in - which baffles me as to why anyone would do that any way, ruins clothes.
the difference of buying price is really nothing... are you kidding me? where do you guys live in the past? 18 yars ago heat pump in italy where very expensive like 1200 euros, now a beko cost 350 euro about the same english pounds! here almost you don't find any model at resistence only heat pump and that's right because they consuming 350w instead of 2200w are you kidding me? efficiency uk efficiency|! with brexit you guys remain so back in everything and im upset about that because i was in love with london@@LauraBidingCitizen

Thank you for watching. I have just published an update on the Hotpoint washing machine this morning.
Most appreciative of your style of review, it's definitely given me all the necessary information to consider purchasing this model of tumble dryer...
Buy a heat pump with inverter motor also have steel drum and is very cheap to run
The most clear demo on tumble-dryer I’ve seen, and thanks for the funny comments on the video

Interesting design for a dryer. Very different from what we have here in the US. 👍
Really? It's quite standard design for the UK
Ductless clothes dryers are neat. Never seen one before. Very handy for flats and retrofitting I assume.
They're called condensing dryers - have been around for many, many years!
Absolute space cadet this fella 😂

Hi and thanks for watching. I can confirm this tumble dryer has two timer settings, one for 10 minutes and the other is 30 minutes.
That's an interesting design. I'm used to the dryer having a duct to the outside.
Never seen one of those!
Is the duct used to feed air to the heat pump?

This model does not reverse tumble.
It will reverse every so often in the cycle :)
I think it’s a heat pump dryer
its a condenser.
