Great video. The reveal of the personal ambitions of VDB was very interesting to a history buff like myself. I liked your almost grin when you referred to the pork barrel politics that may be saving the cent from extinction. How about a video about the modern minting processes. I believe CNC lasers are being used in the die making and newer stamping mills are being installed.

My 2020 and 2019 silver proof sets came in from the U.S. Mint this week and they were kind enough to include a 2019 reverse proof penny with the union shield for FREE as a bonus. They also included a free reverse nickel. Both came with nice presentation envelopes too.

Believe it or not I have found one from boxes of customer wrap that a older couple were bringing into the bank . Opinion is a EF-45 for the grade . My best find ever. Two weeks later another one, about G-4 condition was found in a similar box by another collector .
Hey I recently received a token from my grandmother she said it was her great-grandfathers she said he traded one beaver fur for a token it's a northwest company solid silver beaver token it has a flat backside with a few shapes and such the other side has a beaver with an h under the beavers head. Probably RIP because for some reason the stores don't want to give you your penny change they keeps it, and I kindly tell them that I have a penny jar too and I want my penny, no they don't like it but I get my penny change
