Hope I’m wrong but what’s the big deal with Landaluce? I feel like he always gets Wildcard into events despite not really doing anything with them and loosing in most/all of them. I just don’t know why he has been offered multiple Wilcards, what’s the hype around him?

Different tennis podcasts have Zverev in semis, would love to see Sascha do well here.
And for women, i think Rybakina might not do as well as we hope, but certainly want to see Saba vs Ryba semis.
I think Rublev will finally start winning matches, this surface suits him too.

The story of 2024 is that Iga does well when everybody wrote her off - eg Indian wells. She managed to get those top seeds with poor recent firm in the top half. Everybody remembers Rybakina’s big wins but forgot the 3 setters that she went through during the rounds. My point is that she may not be there in the final.
Lastly, people forgot about Maria Sakkari. She also found form after switching coach before Indian Wells.
Exactly. Every time she wins they say she is in form then ends up her not being in form. That always write the numbers 1 off before anything happen. Like with Djokovic.
Iga will lose her No 1 to Ryba by the end of this year wait and see.
Rybakina hasn’t lost a 3 setter since Blinkova, she will be fine.

I never heard he predict iga will win the tournaments this year and always predict sabalenka will get good result,
He is a big Rybakina fan and predict her to win whenever possible. Also he goes with the mood. This year the mood changed a couple times for Iga depending on her results from the last tournament. At the moment Iga is written off (again) due to her loss at Stuttgart. IMHO it is a premature. In that match, Iga’s serve in the third set badly let her down. She is at least equal favourite to win Madrid.

4:15 I disagree 😅 Saba and Ryba both have a big serve and play really fast but in the end Saba has more variation than Rybakina (Can move better and is better on the net etc. to finish points / former world no. 1 in doubles) Saying Saba = Rybakina is bs srry
On the other side Rybakina is more consistent recently - shes able to play her game but saba isnt
