Guys, they started off very hardcore this is them going back to their roots and they explain this is what the song's origins are. Listen to their early to middle stuff you will be blown away.🖖
Alright I've listened to each of their albums about 20-50 times. I fail to see where they were "very hardcore". Yes they explored some metal elements occasionally, but veeeery rarely went really heavy. And never before in a metalcore style like in this song.

Il pezzo nel ritornello vira sicuramente verso il metalcore, ma anche dal vivo suona comunque troppo ovattato e patinato, come del resto tutta la loro discografia da BHAR in poi.
Vi consiglio di ascoltare i Muse live fino al 2004, quando suonavano veramente distorti e con progressioni esplosive. All'epoca, dal vivo, non erano tanto distanti da Deftones e RATM. Sicuramente un power-trio cazzuto come pochi.

Bella Reaction, ma questo sound non è una completa novità per i Muse, vi consiglio di dare un occhio ad Assassin (magari live), Stockholm syndrome, o le molto più recenti Reapers, The Handler, o anche Psycho un po'... mi auguro che questo Album avrà altri pezzi altrettanto validi e potenti!

@@TheMetalcoreBand Li seguo da anni, e purtroppo è evidente che la stragrande maggioranza delle persone si è fatta un'idea sbagliata sui MUSE, quindi non vi biasimo... Ma la colpa è solo loro che continuano a sfornare un sacco di singoli da radio molto leggeri e diversi dal resto dell'album, e tra l'altro negli ultimi anni a mio avviso non ne hanno azzeccato nessuno (di questi singoli più leggeri e commerciali da radio, intendo)...
Ai tempi riuscivano a sfornare pezzi come Starlight, Undisclosed Desires, Uprising e Resistance, che sono pezzi "commerciali" ma a mio avviso di qualità, mentre ultimamente se ne sono usciti con Madness, Follow me, Mercy, Dig Down ecc.. (a parte il fatto che l'ultimo album uscito è l'unico che non mi piace per niente, a parte 2-3 brani, ma il prossimo promette bene! e finalmente come primo singolo hanno scelto un pezzo più strong)
