Welcome back! I’ve had hormonal migraines since about the age 30 and I’m 41 now. Imitrex has been very helpful for me when I feel one coming on now.
Oh gosh, it’s really the pits! I feel for anyone who experiences migraines 🥹 I thought my brain was going to explode for a minute and even took myself to ED as I was in so much pain. Felt like such an idiot when they discharged me with a headache 🤣
@@ElsasWholesomeLife yes! They are debilitating! I do recommended getting some prescription meds just to have on hand because they can knock you down quickly, as you know. It affects the whole body if they get too bad. I know the early stages of one now, if I take a pill as soon as I feel it, it keeps it at bay and won’t become a full blown migraine.
Don’t listen to that self doubt ! I love all of your content!

Loved this video. I have a 21 month old and we talk a lot about having a 2nd one (I never thought I wanted more than 1 kid lol). I’m still breastfeeding this one, who never took a bottle or drank any other milk. I like breastfeeding, but the thought of having a 2nd child and - again - going through the days and weeks and months of cluster feeding with a baby who doesn’t take a bottle is scary. Gives me hope that it worked well with Zimy though. Also, your POV on life with 2 kids was very reassuring of what we also think (but can’t say for sure): it shouldn’t be harder than transitioning from 0 to 1. I had legit the worst anxiety I’ve ever felt :D

Maybe a family holiday to Fiji or Hawaii could be good? They have a lot of resorts and kind of that summer/beach vibe you were after! I've been thinking about Fiji lately as well!
We’ve been to Hawaii with Bowie - loved it! But probably would go somewhere else. I like the idea of Fiji as it’s close 🙌🏼 maybe even Cook Islands!

Covers definitely don’t fit in the washing machine :( they can be removed but not super practical. Also the linen isn’t very thick it’s our second set of covers and both have gotten holes in them after a couple of years 🥵
Hi Ellie what formula did you start Zimi on? I’m thinking of doing the same with my son but don’t know how to read the ingredients on the label and scared of giving my baby not so good ingredients of that makes sense
I’ve been using little oak, it’s a NZ brand and it’s palm oil free, goat milk 😀

Actually in studies (cross sectional survey of parents), a large number of parents do have a preferred/“favourite” child. So don’t feel bad if any parents feel that at all 😂😂

In Europe the roads and streets are probably better equipped for bikes. We do walk a little bit , but when you’re busy, driving is much more efficient 👌🏻
Zimi’s also only just old enough to sit and be able to go on a bike 😀
Yup we don't have much infrastructure structure for bikes in aus. We also have quite large sprawled cities so things can be very spread and not very feasible via bike. I used to bike all through London but just can't here really.
