I always love the philosophical parts in these videos, they somehow fit perfectly with the caving vibe and you always deliver it so well. I'm in the process of quitting nicotine after 5 years of use, currently on day 6 of having none, and despite the major difference between caving and quitting nicotine, your words on courage radiate with me. I woke up this morning in misery thinking that I might break today. But thanks to you ive found the courage to fight the fear and anxiety within. And keep pushing just a little farther.
You're awesome dude! Never forget it. So is Jacob, he's a legend, for being so courageous so young.
Well that's very kind words. And it's encouraging to us as well. I was just thinking in order to be free one has to be resilient. You need to be able to fail and bounce back time and time again.
It's like on the battlefield.
You're terrified when you're new at it,
and then over time you become addicted to it.
When they send you home, all you want to do is go back and fight.
When you were new to battle,
all you wanted to do was go home.
Fear evolves into Passion.
Once you've been shot at, there is nothing else that brings that kind of excitement.
You and Jacob are BRAVE.
Love is stronger then fear , if a something is after your child , u will charge said something to defend your child , that's love , if u can't swim to well but jump in the water to save a person, that would be courageous, & Brave , 💖
Brave : Having or showing mental or moral strength to face danger, fear, or difficulty.
Taking the path less traveled is Difficult. Facing the Fear of failure to become stronger and be above rejection by critics and your peers. Showing mental fortitude when danger arises in life's up's and downs. You are brave my friend.
; )
Ha ha never mind it just took a quick Google search there’s a lot of lava fields in America

Have you guys ever considered using go pro cameras on your head? I think it would look pretty cool!
You're likely to see more of it in some upcoming videos we've already filmed but are processing. Especially for vertical when we just can't hold the camera.
@@EvenDarker cool! Looking forward to it!

Til every ear hears ! 💖🐕 it's important, : )
Unga bunga
🤔 Fear/courage is a very thought provoking topic.
It’s good to push the fear boundary a little. Otherwise, it pushes back, and before you know it...it can take over. Then you have a difficult fight to get back to where you were.
It's also difficult to change. It's difficult to move the line very far. It seems most people have some level of safety versus risk built-in.
Very cool find. Congrats!
I believe I may know what general area you are in - at first I was surprised that no one had previously stumbled across it. However, I see how it could easily be mistaken for one of the many tree casting holes in the area.
Yeah that sounds about right. There soooo many tree casts in that area. Just goes to show there are still more caves to be found. You think it would have all been picked through at this point but nope.
If your married, what does your wife think of your cave adventures? My heart beats fast just watching this.
I am unmarried. And down in these caves I cannot find a wife!
@@EvenDarker Hahaha, that explains it!!
When you go in and find the areas that are in accessible and people shouldn’t go do you ever block them off to prevent people from entering?
Sometimes but it's rare. Most of the caves we access are pretty remote already. But occasionally there is a cave that will have a elaborate formations for Native American paintings and those are usually are usually gated in some way.
could i just look in any large section of woods and find a cave or are there specific things to look for around the area to signal a possible cave?
It is extremely difficult and unlikely to find random caves. Thinking about it broadly... You need to find an area where there is lava flow. You can generally find that kind of information on the Internet. Or just go to where volcanoes are.
We live near landscapes which offer several large lava "fields." So in this case we can just wander around looking for caves.
Friend, I noticed you don’t comment back a lot of the time, and I understand. But the only place I know that has lava is Hawaii, and it does it snow in Hawaii what state do you live in if you don’t mind
We do most of our caving in the pacific northwest. And yeah, we got a lot of volcanoes. The most of the lava fields are not from the big volcanoes... Just little cones everywhere. That spewed out lava a long time ago.
Hawaii does have the biggest lava caves.
Cool, send me details.
Somewhere in the Pacific Northwest.
@@EvenDarker haha - funny guy. south of that boardwalk and a little that way - right?
