I just wonder why it's so hard to look at my artificers homonculous and steel defender at the same time when they should both be marked down as actions.
Just wanted to pop into the comments to let you know that this was done exceptionally well. Most content that you all put out is good, but this was significantly better in my opinion. Great job. I am also pleased to say that in this video, I learned two things I had no clue about but are super helpful. And I am definitely not new to D&D so its lllomeans a lot to me. ❤️🔥🌹
Honestly, I love this video. I'm getting back into D&D, and I want to have fun playing with some of my friends. This is a great video for newer players.
I love the idea of having premade characters for newbies to choose from on D&D Beyond. However, I don't understand why the premade characters from the starter sets Lost Mine of Phandelver and Dragons of Stormwreck Isle are not included in the list, especially when the first one is mentioned in the video. Wouldn't that make perfect sense if you want to get them started quick and on that platform?
It would be awesome to have a solo play option or playtest option for your character on the app or website. Incorporating reading with dice rolls and outcomes of your decisions.
is there a Player hand book with all the race and sub race ...not juste the 7 one in the main book... or do we have to buy all book to add to the race and class Thank you
I prefer pen and paper but this is still an amazing tool. It adds a lot of convenience. Now if only this would work just as well with the mobile app (I haven't really explored it much, so please correct me if I'm wrong here) then it would be even better. Using digital tools doesn't take away from the D&D experience, no matter what the grognards say. It's a tool. Just like pen and paper. It's how you use it at the table that enriches or dampens the game.
I'll try here for answers. How to you use bookmarks effectively on D&D beyond. There is no explanation on there on how to use it. I've made a bookmark got back on read further and going out and back in puts me at the original bookmark. Even when I try to update my new place in the book. Can anyone help?

Is the app good ? Last time I went on they didn’t have it looking like this smh or is this just the desktop version ?

We appreciate that! Thanks for your comment
I love DND Beyond, I have several digital books so I can use them. But I also like to throw dice on the table sooooo
Really well done - would love to see a playlist of vids like this that explain from ground zero getting up to speed in D&D.
have you added a rage button, I have cludged together a work around but this is a core feature and should be included in the app, please fix this asap

if what would work? yes. the mobile app works just fine.
Wasn’t until I watched this that I knew you could click on everything, so used to obvious cues that something is clickable
Does not work like this in the mobile app, I guess unless you have paid for all the books

Plus no videos on how to which is surprising.
