Sweet find! A nice cheap, fun cruiser! Great job!!! I firmly believe in decent older vehicles for first time drivers. Did the same for my daughters. Found someone getting rid of a solid 03 Jeep Liberty with 80K on it. Some metal over the rocker rust, a little mechanical work and it's good to go! It now has about 95K and running strong!
Yeah worked for us on a Buick...chain one side to tree take one come along HD and position for pull on stout tree.....add second chain or come along as needed@@Bendinwrenches24
I'm surprised buddy in the red jacket still has his hands not just after this but seeing this and seeing his age I'm assuming this is not the first time he's done stuff like this yeah just amazing lol
I'm from northern Ontario Canada and most of our trucks are rusted to the door handles after 15 years those guys in Utah or the Southern states don't know how lucky they are to have all that old iron laying around.
Better go ahead and put a timming set in it asap being up north the plastic timming tensioners love to snap in cold weather and will destroy the engine instantly
your boy is going to have a sweet ride for High School. Better pick up a pile of used tires for when your boy puts on a smoke show for his friends. lol Burning rubber.
Very good job.. A few new parts, some adjustments with am impact device, and she is as good as new/used.. way to go.
Thanks! I think it's gonna be a good little pick up! Appreciate ya tuning in!

Thanks! Much appreciated! Little investment is definitely the way to go in these situations!
Good Choice, This Truck Is Well Worth Fixing! Better Than A New One!
You got that right!
Came out awesome..!You definitely brought it back from the dead…
Thanks for tuning in! She was a mess!
Great find good repair and with the prices of new used trucks these days worth it to r and r a busted one.....
I have a 2003 f150 with the 4.2 litre v6 with four hundred and 80thousand miles on her and she’s still a good truck
That's the new goal lol. Awesome!
There’s hope for mine then I have a 2000 regular cab 4wd with 5 speed manual and it’s got 286,000 on it.
"all this power, right here!" here's JOHNNIE!
Hell yeah!
Those are great trucks they ride and drive great and just keep running. The early 4.6 5.4 and 6.8 are super tough.
Right on, thanks for tuning in!
I have an 01 F150 Crue Cab Lariat with a 5.4. I have been very satisfied with the 5.4. Has 170,000 miles and very reliable.
Thanks I've heard the old 2 valve motors run good!
Turned out pretty good , u call your Dad not daddy lol
And the glair off the top of his head 😂 , great job see ya soon!

Guy was holding onto that beer for dear life

My kind of salvage yard.

You ain't kidding! It's like striking the lottery finding this in the rust belt for sure! Thanks for tuning in!
Yeah we do, it’s expensive.
why is the replacement steering column wheel upside down?? will destroy the clock spring
Lesson learned lol 1997 to 2000 are different to 01 to early 04 that's the difference 😂
The steering shaft is cut the opposite
I've got a set of aluminum OE wheels with center caps I'd give you but i am in Texas
1997 single cab short box 5.4 285k is my daily driver
Thanks lol, bit of a drive! Hell we got a 100k left on the ole girl then! Thanks for tuning in!
FORSCAN on an old Laptop will allow you to reprogram the keys. Real easy.
Thanks for the insight! Thanks for watching!
That’s a stupid clean truck for Michigan!
Better go ahead and put a timming set in it asap being up north the plastic timming tensioners love to snap in cold weather and will destroy the engine instantly
Appreciate the heads up! Thanks for watching!
The 2v 5.4 have cast iron tensioners. You're thinking of the 3v 5.4 that had the composites.

Thanks dude! It's a power house for a stock setup!
Just not good design never fan seems every truck suv gets same design quality less of arrow dynamics
I would much rather it be a 92-96. But in the rust belt you kinda get slim pickings local. Thanks for tuning in!
