BIG French Carp on ULTRALIGHT Tackle 4lb Line | Mountain Lake Fishing

I'm still in France, and I fish for two days straight at a mountain lake where I got skunked last summer. On the first day, I manage to find out more or less what species inhabit the lake (and what potential big fish species I had lost last year) after a few takes whilst baiting up.
The next day however would be a true test of skill and patience, as I connected with the biggest fish I'd come across in over two years, on my only ultralight setup beside all the other rods I'd cast out with.
The biggest surprise I had in a while; quite literally.
