What I want so far is definitely immersion. Like they did with RDR2. Way more interactions with npcs. A lot more indoor places to explore and discover hidden lore or Easter eggs. But definitely things like utilizing the trunk of your car for your bigger weapons and explosives. Hijacking cars could be a minigame like taming a horse is in Red dead. And last but not least... Better crashes and more of a physics based driving system

For real, I wouldn’t care if the map is half the size of GTA 5s if it’s dense as hell and blows us away with AI and interactivity/interiors. Even occasional interiors would be a huge step up from pretty much any open world city. Just be the ones to make that leap, pull a Baldurs Gate and put everyone else to shame.
They can always add additional map size through DLC, and they will.
It would be icing on top to have a story more like the quality of IVs, just with a little more style and less depression/grit. It’s Miami after all. Maybe Lucia is an illegal, (though she looks sort of mixed). Maybe that’s Border patrol and ICE are elements throughout. Maybe they even give us a border somewhere on the map, or perhaps it invokes coast guard and passage through Ocean to nearby islands. I hope there’s a Space Center and Disney World clone too.

In my hopes for GTA 6, I'm really wanting missions that break free from the hand-holding experience. I'm eager for missions that let us explore various paths and solutions, avoiding that feeling of being overly guided or restricted. A more open, less restrictive mission structure would be the right move forward.
I would also like GTA 6 bringing a grittier, more grounded storyline and deeper character development to the table, all while maintaining that perfect balance with the classic satire. Don’t think some famous actors now would have the time for the work Rockstar likes now in their games, the cast for RDR2 for example, they worked on it for 5 years. With Cyberpunk though having played maybe near half way through, I’m pretty impressed how much work they got Keanu Reeves to do. He’s in quite a lot of areas of the game, not just in main missions.
That’s not common though. That’s why with Kojima he should stray away from using famous actors and start casting more unknown actors like Rockstar has been doing who have that time and drive to be part of their projects. It does a lot for immersion too seeing faces you’re not familiar with and voices you’ve not heard. Kiefer Sutherland was a great choice for Big Boss in MGSV but his appearances felt pretty sparse so it was a hindrance in terms if the story for me casting him.

    1. Less linear missions, more choice of how to complete missions. Maybe a system of if you fail then the story just continues, and you have to deal with the consequences (couldn't be every mission but a lot of them). Think GTA III open ended with hit man missions, but more depth.
    2. Add back the San Andreas RPG elements and add things from RDR2.
    3. Bounty systems where the cops don't just give up and forget about you.
    4. Integrate things from GTA online into the story, with many ways to earn cash and actually have it be useful. You'd get so much cash in GTA V and have a hard time spending all of it. I want to set up heists with NPCs outside of story missions and just have it feel more open.
    5. Many more choices that can change the story. GTA IV and V had a few but nothing extremely significant outside of one or two choices.
    6. Full customization of the characters you play as in the story (probably won't happen but can always dream).
    7. Karma/reputation system.

I’d personally love a slower, more weighty and immersive, consequential light sim experience. I don’t want to be carrying around 20 guns. Maybe two long and two pistols at the most. Well, as a person who's seen the leaks, I can tell you something I saw: In one of the clips, we can see Jason (the apparent male protagonist (1 of 2) in the game) pretty realistically pick up an assault rifle of the ground (very nice). Then the dev opens up the apparent weapon wheel, it has one main box in the middle, containing the held assault rifle, and 7 smaller boxes arround it. Theres also 3 words at the top "Weapons" which is the tab were in right now, "Equipment" and "Gear", also theres text at the bottom saying "ammunition goes here". In one of the boxes theres a fist, other theres a pistol, other theres a knife. The dev then holds the right joystick down and presses x to drop the rifle (the buttons are shown in little prompts, also I think we couldn't drop guns before, nice). Then, after he has dropped the rifle, he goes back into the weapons wheel (his inventory I guess, like in rdr 2) and when he goes over the pistol, it show "holster" over the top of it. Basically, what this idiotic, borderline schizophrenic comment is trying to say is - I think theres a high chance that we'll see something like rdr 2, with the holsters and the limited ammount of stuff you can carry and i honestly really like that, maybe it wil be a little more arcade'y, but thats fine too.

Rockstar's ability to have this level of attention to detail is what set them apart and how you can play a game from 2023 and have less details (not texture res) than a game from early 2000s.

Storywise, I'd quite like to play two opposing characters that start together and split apart. Maybe a crooked cop trying to use their position and a crook trying to escape their life. I'd also like longer tail relationships akin to cyberpunk and the text messages/calls you get long after you close a character's arc.
Setting and systems wise, I'd love more expansive, but deeper and more intergrated systems that tie into eachother or have an effect on the wider world.
My dream pick would also be something like intergrating things in the world like seasonal changes and weather, winter/summer/spring would be awesome.

Leaks indicated that interiors & this map will be more dense opposed to large. To me that’s what immersion needs. Give us buildings that have life + intricacy & are accessible that have different tones inside.
Also if it’s a true Bonnie & Clyde stickup game then allow the player to stick up almost any industry that houses money, drugs or guns.
Imagine robbing random motels, mom & pop stores, a drug den you stumble onto or even a small undermanned police station.
Rockstar outdid themselves with RDR2 so hopefully this is in the same realm of game.

The physics in IV felt good on cars but in terms of driving, V is superior. The way cars handle around corners is more closer to how it should be while cars were very bouncy in IV though that weighty feeling did feel good. The damage in cars was better in IV, but I wonder how the armor system effected that in V. I imagine it’s a lot easier to create that damage system on cars for IV when there wasn’t other factors like having armor levels.

Other than the story, I'm excited to see what new gameplay changes they make. I loved what they did with Red Dead Redemption 2 and it has me really hyped to see what they do with next GTA. My first GTA was actually Vice City and then I went back and played GTA 3. I had to beg my mom to get me San Andreas because she had heard of all the hot coffee stuff that was going on, thank GOD they put "Revision 2" or something to that effect on the box of the game after the hot coffee incident because I could point to that when we were at the store and say "See they took all that stuff out of the game" LOL. It might not be for everyone, but I really curious to see what they do with the weather effects. I loved experiencing a dark, gloomy atmosphere in RDR2 as a storm was forming. It really made me feel small and a bit insignificant against the force of nature. If they build on this and have the weather affect the gameplay, it could lead to interesting scenarios. Also would love to see the advancing changes make a return. Where the world is developing and houses are being built as time passes like in RDR2. Perhaps combining the two mechanics and as certain weather make damage, people will repair the damage, rescue others once the storm has passed. Perhaps we can participate if we so choose to as a quick event type thing.

I'd really love to see them double down on the single player aspect of the game. I love the mechanics in RDR2 letting you interact with any NPC and I really hope that's something that is brought over! Also mentioned in a previous video, but being able to build your own drug empire would be so cool, having to build up clubs or drug dens, anything like that would be such an amazing idea! If we do have 2 main playable characters like Jake said in a video, one character being part of the law and the other being an outlaw could lead to some amazing story moments!

RP is their selling point. If they focus on an RP server that allows the devs to expand the map and assets, that's gonna be a big deal. Also, they need to sign a deal to make the game essentially a streaming platform. For example, streamers get hit with copyright for playing music. Incorporate a streaming service so players can play their own music in their vehicles, other electronic devices in the game, while playing online.

Rp is not rockstars selling point lol, they brought in 800.000$ in the first 24 hours on gta 5.

RP is great but it's not what the majority of players are doing in GTA 5 online. I would also like more RP focus, but from a business perspective probably wouldn't be very smart

I’ll say it now. I feel the release of GTA 6 will break all sales records, it’s the only game I’ll actually be preordering because I’m 100% sure if I don’t I won’t be able to get my hands on a physical copy for a good while after release.

A trunk armory would be awesome! Kinda like the horse saddles in RDR2

I believe the biggest new features will be AI powered npc pedestrian conversation and the patented dynamic behaviour made from “building blocks”. That would make the world feel alive, especially when each npc has a “daily life”. They may even have memories, who knows..

I think that the "It" factor will be a story that is both told in the past and the present at the same time because we already know its based off of Bonny can Clyde so maybe it will have like a time period switching and the story is told that way. Bringing both gta and rdr together. idk just a thought.

I want scale, if i have to drive half an hour from one city to another thats amazing to me, although i see how someone would hate it but i would love to go on a roadtrip just to get somewhere kind of stuff.

As someone who's never played GTA but absolutely loved Red Dead and Red Dead 2, I'm really hoping for the immersive world and deep story the most. If they could take the pedigree of RDR2's living, breathing world and apply it to a bustling metropolis, it would probably be the best open world ever.

I really hope theres more verticality when it comes to the open world. More explorable buildings, single floor or skyscrapers. I think Cyberpunk gave us a taste of what's possible but hopefully GTA 6 follows through.

Cyberpunk is a pretty awful example. Even the small amount of buildings you can go in, they're hardly explorable lol

@imitenotbe ...Small amount? Have you played the game? I mean obviously you can't enter every single building it's a massive city, but considering how large the city is there's a LOT of enterable locations with no loading

    • @imitenotbe
      @imitenotbe 6 месяцев назад

@@irecordwithaphone1856 it's a very small amount when considering the size of the city. and most buildings only have two maybe three floors of access. he's talking about verticality and it's mostly an illusion in Cyberpunk

If it is set in Florida I want air boats in the Everglades, sailing to the keys and going to some backwoods slums in Louisiana.

I'm hoping for the driving mechanics and controller feel while driving to be upgraded i'd also love to see an improvement to the weapon customization and modifications you can make to them to really make your weapon of choice your own like they did with red dead i'd like that to come over i'd like maybe the ability to do regular burglaries on apartments and houses throughout the city or town we end up in. i'd also like to be able to go inside and interact with more people and things. the GTA RP community is a great example of things that could be cool to bring back like fast food banks you can rob robbing people instead of killing them to get money

I think with a lot of the creative leads leaving Rockstar before or after the development of this next GTA title, the best and probably safest rout they can take going forward is going back to the roots kinda, such as going for a tone closer to the original PS2 trilogy. Something a bit looser and more zany.
I also agree that we need more than something that’s just GTA V but refined and prettier. We need something that feels substantial in terms of gameplay, just like how V was compared to IV snd the prior entries, at least imo that’s how it felt.

I want more gameplay features, amazing cinematic blockbuster epic storylines, more attention to detail (sometimes I like to see how realistic game can be), more things to see and do, Amazing places to discover, wide variety of gun and car modification, next level immersion and stunning graphics. I mean the list could go on to be honest😂 But this is some of the things I hope they can deliver

I wanna see Benny's garage level of car customization for every car. I also think it would be insane if they went the Forza route with officially licensed cars

Its unlikely but I really want house customisation near to the sims to give money more uses and skateboarding add a wrinkle to making getting around fun
