I get home from a crap day at work, and look at You Tube for something to get me out of my sour mood. Then your video pops up. Thank you for showing that coast line walkway and fort views.
We're all here in Canada worried about getting covid and dementia and you're travelling the world and enjoying yourself..you made the right life choice...🤣😉😉
From the food, weather, buildings and vibe, looks like my kind of place. Love this style of video Gabriel does. No BS and it's not about him. Just taking us along.
'It's not about him' - those are the right words! Most other youtubers, even the good ones, tend to make videos somehow about themselves, by being constantly in the view. And youtuber is a stupid word, Gabriel is like better than that.
Take a boat tour to St.Naum on the south part of lake there is very nice monastery and the crystal clear spring that flows into lake. St.Naum is a must see place for all Ohrid tourists. Enjoy
@Dardan El Rahim It’s a mix of a lot. Notice how I didn’t say ‘Macedonia’? I said Ohrid. Just because a bunch of your people invaded the east, doesnt mean it’s yours. It’s still Slavic.
@Dardan El Rahim never will happen, but I wouldn’t protest it if you all were Orthodox. I would want the world to be albania if you were orthodox. But that will never happen, because you aren’t, and God will not allow a pious group of people to be destroyed.
It really is beautiful, just shows that Balkans have such rich history as well beautiful places to visit. The Balkans will always be the heart of Europe, even if its countries through politics is so bad.

Another dose of sanity. Loved the folk music at the end. Never heard of this place before. I'm impressed that the Ottomans didn't destroy the Byzantine churches. Back in the day, the Ottomans must have been one of the world's superpowers.

not to spoil your first impression there but although the water LOOKS clean and crystal clear there are only a few places where I would sign up on that (like perhaps the crn drim springs at Sveti Naum where Lake Ohrid is fed with fresh water coming from lake Prespa through the ground). Anything near the city of Ohrid or Struga, you can't speak of clean water. Excellent job my friend! Ohrid is the birthplace of Christianity in Europe. Was brought to Ohrid from Syria. Some churches there date some 300 years before the romans recognized the Christianity. Some frescoes in Ohrid recognize renaissance again some 200-300 years before the renaissance showed in for first time in Italy. Amazing video as always. I always enjoy your travels. I guess I see you do things that remind me of the things I get a buzz out of when I travel places.
