Thanks for this detailed video; as expected, best result is by merging two shots... question is, why can't we program the HDR shooting from the X3 itself... would be so convenient for cases where you don't shoot on a tripod. We are simply asking for something that is common on normal cameras, shoot 3 shots, -2EV, 0EV, +2EV ... without having to change the exposure manually between shots.

As a long time subscriber and viewer, I know you know a lot and that you have connections to manufacturers, so .... I have a 360 tech question I cannot find the answer too with any search, so I will ask you. I do not need to know, but I want to know, so here goes ... (btw I have many 360 cams [for years]).
When I use an 8k 360 camera at 30p I am assuming that the two sensors are being fully utilized for each frame. What I am trying to find out is what happens inside a 360 camera when I select a lower resolution like 4k at 120p (ex. Qoocam)? Since there are no moving parts (e.g. lens, shutter) how are the photons redirected to a smaller area on the sensor, in this case 1/4 of the sensor. Or is that not what happens? Maybe the full sensor is still used but pixels are grouped in cluster of 4? I cannot find an answer to this anywhere, I am hoping you can point me to a resource, thank you (as a bribe, if you can help, I will subscribe with a second channel bribe bribe bribe).

Any way to download the full size photos or video with only having either an iPad pro or an android phone? I got this camera recently, just started shooting today to realize on the mobile app it lowers resolution when you save or download edited footage from the app. Otherwise I don't know how to transfer them just to get it to the iPad THEN do editing. I just want the full resolution files. Do I have to go get a computer now just to do that?

with enough lighting, X3 1/2 inch sensor can still deliver. one point to take note is the lens guard. my advice is not to use it, as it totally degrade the overall quality. I took it off immediately after 1st shooting event.
