If Capcom ever remakes Outbreak how about a character creation to make your own towns person of Racoon City! Never got the chance to play this game and I'd love to play this game.

Imagine being able to play with 3 other friends, having a group of 4 players with endless possibilities of how you can play.. nah that ain’t ever happening, Capcom wouldn’t be the smart.. not possible but just imagine 😂

I believe a port to modern consoles would be Capcom's best option if they refuse to invest into past assets used to create RE: Outbreak 1 & 2. PLEASE let them make it playable offline and with AI like in the past. With how advanced AI is becoming I think it 'd be a great way. I'm SICK and tired of all these great games in the market being exclusively multiplayer with legit 0 playability off line. I really wanted to try RE resistance ( i know people panned the game) but couldn't because it needed me to buy PS PLUS. Same with friday the 13th and DBD. Not everyone is a hardcore frequent gamer. Some of us like to pick up and play when we want to and I don't want to shell out a monthly fee to play online ugh. I am HOPING they make it offline too otherwise I'd be devastated. Outbreak legit is my FAVORITE RE game ever.
I agree. At this point I'd be happy just to get it, details be damned lol. But I am with you 100%. As for Resistance, it was an amazing game. And it wouldn't be very fun with an offline mode, but I see your point. Generally it was panned mostly by people who didn't play it. Its still worth playing on PSN if you ever can find a way; it's surprisingly still quite active. Since it's abandoned though there's a lot of meta play and much of the creative build fun is kinda done with.
You said it all I'm sad I didn't have chance to play resistance Friday 13th Halloween and Texas I'm like the biggest horror fan out there and have all the games but I'm not paying a monthly fee and running around with other pricks online and there not forcing me to pay extra money get my fave games so I didn't or won't bother untill there offline also. it's a Big con to get you to pay more money that I'm not very impressed with 😡😡😡 and im glad they have missed alot of more money they could still been making now if they did them off line with backstorys . online games also go out of style and get forgotten as were they loose money cuz later on the offline games with an actual story base get rebrought and sold as antice orchshun like movies .I dont care what anyone says its a waste of time and money overall
don't forget, where resistance went wrong was not having the following >Auto kick (Virus Meter in Outbreak) >Vote to kick (like L4D2) >Leveling system (like come on, you telling me you have to invest countless hours to have the same skills are the rest of the playerbase from launch?) now the last nail in the coffin for resistance was having the mastermind face off against 4 players, 4 players that are on the same level or higher than you, no amount of planning will prevent you from being speedran faster than Mario 64, and this is assuming you're a casual player, if you can do RE4 Remake professional in under 5.5 hours, Resistance is going to be way too easy, specially with 4 of you, they should have cut it down to 2 survivors and 1 mastermind so the queue times aren't atrocious

The AI of the original games were a mess and Capcom wasn't able to make the RE game they wanted because of size limits of PS2 discs, this is exactly why Outbreak NEED a remake (a HD remaster won't be enough here).
I think it is coming, noticed on capcom twitter that they have upscaled the crocodile and hyenas in RE: Outbreak….but I think it’s just a remaster to it 😢 not a full remake 😢
I personally think the virus metre should be optional. I've been playing with a patch to remove it, and honestly it makes the game so much more like a classic RE with more time to solve puzzles without looking up a guide and to really soak in the atmosphere
Yes, its near! Capcom kept referencing outbreaks on their previous games such as Alyssa ashcroft on RE 7, Kevin rayman asking for backup on js bar while hes with bob,mark, and cindy on RE 3 remake. And valerie story from resistance is actually shes looking for yoko before they got contained by the mastermind. AND for those who have poor eyesight, ( No offense ) On Capcom recent CG Film Resident evil Death Island, during the intro, YOU WILL SEE THEY PUT THE USS BEING EATEN BY RAT scene from RE OUTBREAK Intro before the Outbreak Scenario. The fact that they putted it alongside the main titles shown in that intro shows they still remember. Outbreak is just taking its time. Lets wait a little more patiently. I hope its offline too.
Back in 2021 Nvidia had a massive game leak showing off unannounced games and Resident Evil Outbreak and Monster Hunter 6 was on there with other Capcom games that got revealed later on. And the new Monster Hunter game got revealed at the game awards so anything is possible at this rate ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I found it surprising that you think Capcom should do servers. They dropped the first games pretty quickly. P2p is a better solution, so we won't have to jump through hoops to keep the game alive anymore. If it's done right, like Deep Rock Galactic, the game could last forever.
Well they do need to remaster or port it so I can play it on my switch either that or make another resident evil revelations except instead of 2 players at least have up to 4 but keep the two players just in case you can't find four people and im talking about the awesome raid mode thats way better then the stupid mercenary mode I always hated mercenarys in the resident evil 4 and 5 accept the 6 one that one was at least fun and easy
I want a remake of these games so bad, but I’m sorry I had to dislike this video because most of these changes don’t sound good at all and make me even more worried about what Capcom will do! P.S. the Resident Evil Outbreak games are my absolute favorites!
