I honestly really liked Cars 2 when I was a kid, and I still do (I personally find it to be quite a fun watch), but like someone else said, it should’ve been made as a spin-off and not marketed as a direct sequel to the first film.
2:35 I just realized this, but can we take a moment and acknowledge how beautiful this shot it. The shot itself is fine, but when the fish slides down, it left a clean mark on the grill where it’s body and fins were. Noting amazing, but a cool detail I didn’t see before.
Fun Fact: The original book for the movie Home, which is called “The True Meaning of Smekday,” is a powerful metaphor for European settlers colonizing America and forcefully evicting the Native Americans from their land, and is also one of my favorite young adult novels. Another Fun Fact: The movie makes me want to shove my head in a blender.
the good dinosaur. yes it was a bad/boring plot. but you’re so right about the “visual” part. it was amazing sculpted, the sets and the characters. and i honestly thought, personally, the round-mouthed, large headed character style was adorable.
@@waltergoldstein8244 absolutely, what I meant to say was that a lot of the movies in the awful section have equally bad stories as the ones in the absolute worst section. It's only the high animation budget that saves them and makes them watchable. I think I was pretty clear how did you mix it up?
For me personally I’m very glad you put “a turtles tale” in meh I remember liking it as a kid maybe loving it because of how cute it is. When I rewatch it now it’s honestly still not bad. Sure there are some contrived plot points but still it’s so cute about two friends just drifting, coming back, drifting again due to clashing personalities due to being older then of course human B plot happens and I don’t exactly like that personally but the human character lady was very fun and cute and did what she needed and stuff. It is surprisingly a good part of my childhood I can look back and and go “aww I remember that” Anyway just wanted to give my 2 cents
For me, is just a movie I just watched due to fate, it just exists and never watch it again. Mostly because felt empty most of the time. I can't give a 4/10 to that. Sorry.
To be fair the first place they were broadcast in the US was on the Discovery Channel and they used it in marketing for years. It's pretty firmly associated with them over here.
I genuinely think that Trolland wasn’t animated, I think that the characters were made in VR due to how the characters act and behave similar to someone using the VR similar to something like VRChat.

Robyn Mazzurco my least favorite thing about the Disney remakes is what they do to the villains. Scar was so fun and flamboyant and cunning in the original but in the remake he’s so dull and serious. The same is true of Jafar in the Aladdin remake.
No... that better not be true... *checks* IT IS TRUE!!! Why? Just... why? First with that movie and that movie... but they took out Be Prepared! Are they trying to make us truly hate/not sympathetic to the villains or something? I didn’t see these “remastered”/“remade” versions of The Lion King and Aladdin but I did see a certain live action Disney remake that I got mad over for changing a side character (which also made it very historically inaccurate because we humans are garbage, would have hurt the couple for their decision to be together, and do awful things for stupid reasons) and highlighted the humans more often. This story isn’t about the humans! I’m at not saying it’s name because I am mad at it.
Yahh I think the sequels are pretty bad, but I actually didn't mind the first one. The animation just got worse as time went on. So yayy I didn't really mind the first one the rest I'm just disappointed in.
Well I haven't watched any of them, but from just seeing the trailer, I mean... It doesn't look very good. A furry film is the only thing I can presume of the franchise.

Don't forget that Sony was about to make the animated Popeye film but was cancelled due to making the Emoji Movie instead! The Emoji Movie killed Popeye making it WAY worst. RIP Popeye 1929 - (what is about to be 2016)
Someone once tried to tell me that it’s impossible for Minions characters to be deep and enjoyable because they can’t talk, and Illumination did the best they could It’s almost like Wall-E doesn’t exist.
When “home” came on I was like “I actually kinda liked that movie.” And then he started talking about how forgettable it was, then I realized “ wait, I actually can’t remember what it was about”😂
In 6th grade I was in outdoor adventure, and the teacher made us watch Norm of the North. The only reason our class wanted to keep watching it was so we could hate on it and make fun of it 😂
Asus Gamer honestly tho. The first two thirds was trying to bank on “oh its the internet its so cool” and just led itself down a rabbit hole until the final third of the movie which was okay but then they didn’t do anything with it. The conflict resolves but its not really satisfying. Its missing a lot, but it could’ve been better had they spent a tad more time tweaking the plot.

I actually think the first Gnomeo And Juliet is very charming, funny and clever in a lot of ways. The romance between the two leads is actually very enjoyable to watch and they have a lot of chemistry with each other. But that movie should never have had a sequel.

After that I was so sick I just projectile vomited into the toilet for nearly 10 minutes, then dry heaved for another 30 or so minutes.
But it’s really not though. Sure it’s edgy but it was made by one guy and visually, it has a style to it. Sure it’s has some sick shit in it but it’s not a shameless cash grab or a lazily made movie.
Sigi Soltau It’s an edgy movie. It’s really not the worst thing ever. One guy made a movie that he wanted to make with no budget. I respect that. Guy had a vision and he made that vision a reality. It’s not the worst movie of the decade. There are worst films
It's not even live-action, unless you consider live-action unstylized and hyperrealistic animation. And there's a different between a rip-off and a reimagining.
Allen Elijah IKR. It was literally nominated for a Best Animated Movie award. I mostly hate what they did to Scar. They did not make him look classy and intimidating, just dirty and plain. Also, why cut out Be Prepared, one of the greatest villain songs of all time.
I think he felt the same way about it the way a lot of about Disney’s remakes as of lately, and that’s just that their films are almost feeling like exact replicas of the animated films instead of, say, trying something new with the same story (see: Cinderella, Jungle Book).
Frisby 2007 the best remakes were the ones from before 2010s or when they started releasing one every other/every year.. Don’t even remember if they were Disney. Wait.. except maleficent it made an interesting story from such a vapid original movie. A prime example of how you EVOLVE a movie, not copy and paste and add a shiny new coat of paint.
Lowkey though, Mars Needs Moms felt like a weird fever dream I had when I was like four until people started talking about it. That's how awful that movie was.
Wait, that was a real movie? I thought it was a weird chimera of movies I watched as a kid that manifested itself into a memory I’m not even sure was real or not.
Alpha and Omega strikes a memory, I went to a movie theater for a birthday party once and I had to pick between Alpha and Omega and Guardians of Gahoole. I think you know which is the better one, and you know I did not pick it
