@@TheCaliforniaBeekeeper what we had lined up in Jan. fell through, we ended up sending them to Bakersfield. I was so happy with the way my bees looked mid Jan., they needed to get down there and get fed. they went down hill for a month before they went. still good, just not as good, and not as many
@@TheCaliforniaBeekeeper Yeah, It was 83f today, tomorrow it is 81f. pretty unusual in this time of year but the bees are taking so much pollen from our pine trees, all our pine trees have so much pollen it is unbelievable.
That means a lot. On New Year's Eve, we lost our boy Dante(my best friend, my fur baby) it was very hard on me. With Kelly's love and support, I found exercise to be my release and really brought joy and love back into my soul. Thanks! A smile is contagious and I believe that to the core. Thanks for watching.
January 25th! I wish, Its February 20 now and i am still under a few feet of snow! Temps around -28 Deg C. So i still have a few weeks to go before i will even think of having a chance of looking at my bees! Great to see the videos on here again! Nice looking hives for January.
The sound it captured when you leaned over showing her pollen baskets, sounds like heaven!! The vibrations of a happy healthy hive!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I dropped fondant a few days ago. It’s another season of trying to grow numbers.
Such an exciting time of year. Good to see a video from you. They were busy Bees that’s for sure Jose. Colonies were jamming. I dropped pollen patties today, give them that boost. Good stuff.
SO great to see that big smile from you seeing your bees getting going . Our weather here in NC this winter has been warm an wet also . This Thursday we are planning on being around 80F an then back in the lower 50’s for the weekend . Do you do anything like count on a honey production or is yours mostly just pollinate an raise queens ??? . Keep up the great video’s . THANKS
Wow that's warm great bee weather y'all are having. We hope to have a some honey crop with all of the rain we have been hit with. We do focus on building bees and raising queens
Just checked a couple hives here in south MS and i have singles with 4-5 frames of brood already.... If we only had drones it would be time to try an split
@@TheCaliforniaBeekeeper our bees never shut down so we always have brood. a month ago we had softball sized patches of brood and now we have 3-5 frames of brood its crazy this year.
I'm new to your channel. This is so fascinating and informative to a city person like me. I look forward to watching more of your videos. Great job!

Hey man. Hope your bees are doing OK with all the snow. Prayers you don't lose any

Van Damme 😂😂😂
Haha so very true. Jean Claude Van Damme was one of my favorite actors as a kid. All of his movies. 😆
@@TheCaliforniaBeekeeper same thing in serbia. 😉👍
Ha enjoyed the video when u combine a hive do u use news paper 1 hive is queen right and 1 no queen thanks
I usually eliminate both queens and introduce a new queen in 48 hrs. If I don't have queens available I will place newspaper between supers.
@@TheCaliforniaBeekeeper Thanks
Do you put in frame feeders in the top and bottom boxes?
I try to if I have enough feeders to go around
How do I get ahold of you?
