Hi Matt. First off, great video, really useful and informative.
We're using this plugin over on our website. What's interesting is that when we set a membership plan - say 7 days or 30 days, (unless we're doing something very wrong) the membership does not end at the end of that period. All that happens is that on the pms-account page, the member sees a message saying their membership has expired. But they can still log in and access the restricted content. I'd be pretty sure that the Pro version deals with this, but folks out there who want to implement the free version should be aware of this I think.

Hey there, thanks for watching the video. I'd say that's certainly a bug in the software, you should reach out to them directly on the wordpress.org support forum or through their website.

I have went through this video over and over and. started over and again and done it over. I have successfully set everything up, however you never explain how once they login with the login page, how to direct them to the page they get access to for subscribing. Hi, great video. But could you please tell me how you edited the appearance of the form on the front-end? The form seems to come with only a default appearance. I don't even know how to change the colors of the button. TIA

I have the Pro version. I have had so many complaints. Members are logged in, and when they try to access content, it sends them directly back to a sign up page... even though they are logged in, and even says so on the screen. Their support takes 3-5 days to answer a question and can't seem to figure this issue out. Very VERY disappointed with this plug in
oh no, I just bought it because I just need a way for digital downloads to be sold via a subscription payment plan. 1 month vs 12 months pro rate. The way this sounds, is they only allow payment to join as a member to your website. It's very confusing, I need it for subscription pricing per object.

Because when my students want to renew, they get that their email is already in use and it doesn't let them access. There should be a permanent option to renew subscription with the same account.

Like user buy kinda reward points and each hided content will have button like "WATCH FOR 5 POINTS". After clicking his balance will be less for 5 points.
This plugin confuses me, and I bought it lately. I can't figure out for the life of me if it allows for subscription payment per product. I don't think it does!
Matt, I'm running through a bug in which the login page simply takes me to the home page after attempting to login, even if I randomly put any username or password. It won't give me an error message like "this user does not exist" or something. So I think I'm missing the "success" page after the login.
I'd make sure you don't have any other redirect plugins running, or perhaps another e-commerce type plugin running that redirects users. If that all checks out, best thing to do is e-mail them for support, especially if you paid for it :)

Hi! I have a question: Do you know if I can use wordpress to create a website like Patreon? I want to make a social network with buddyboss (or whatever network) and the idea is that each user can create, manage and sell their own memberships / subscriptions. Is there a way to do it? I have seen that there are a lot of plugins like memberpress or paid memberships pro, etc. Unfortunately these only allow an administrator to manage the memberships and that is not what I am looking for. Why in heavens' name are you making a "tutorial" about setting up paid member subscriptions without covering how to set up paid member subscriptions?
