Meanwhile in Europe, you can't drive big rigs since they're extremely long and couldn't fit in the city's tight turns, hence why Volvo, Scania, Mercedes, etc are still making cab-overs and are upgrading them till the end of technology

@@JesBdoinItAgain Sorry, what? The reason our fuel tanks are smaller is because there is absolutely no need for them on the vast majority of our routes. It's just dumb to haul around an extra ton of fuel when there are plenty of gas stations around. It just means you can put that much less weight on the bed. That's not to say there aren't trucks with ridiculous fuel capacity. I've seen trucks with 4x500l tanks which should come out at just above 500 gallons or a range of 4500-5000km or ~3000 miles. Lacking engine power? I believe the most powerful stock engines from a US truck manufacturer is 600hp. Both Scania and Volvo sell trucks with stock engines delivering 750hp or more. Our cabs may be smaller, and we have narrower beds as a result but they're no less comfy despite lacking in space. The European population tend to be a few sizes smaller than the average American so we don't really need the XL beds to be comfortable.
Hi Phill, VOLVOS cab is quite cramped ,fridge wouldn't b great,u realize how narrow the bed is ,the daf is quite old now and showing it's age ,I don't get the two bed thing,never see double maned trucks around a good set of well though out rear lockers would go down a treat,had a new s series demo for a fortnight beautiful truck, unfortunately a had to give it up after a week my back was broken,looking forward to the new daf Xg coming out later this year❤️🇬🇧

Very impressed with the MAN coffee machine / microwave combo. Looks incredibly handy to store those 2 necessary items away. It's to bad all these trucks are great but don't copy enough ideas from each other. Would love to see the scania looks + dashboard table with the comfort of volvo, iveco's mobile app to control the truck, the futuristic dashboard of mercedes, MANs microwave / coffee machine setup, the mirror cams, descent fridge size all in one truck.

I have also previously driven the Merc. Overall it was an enjoyable truck to drive , but the mattress is utter pants! Finally, the exceptionally attractive lady presents the trucks very well, even though I didn’t have a clue what she was saying 😉🥰 Hope we get to see her again with english subtitles enabled (please)

Leuke uitleg over deze trucks, ze zien er echt geweldig uit met al die snufjes. Geen spiegels maar monitoren binnenin lijkt mij ook geweldig om mee te rijden.
In European trucks, little more space should be for two persons for sleeping together, both single bed as well as double bed.And little more space for storage above the window side.Cabin should be little more backward for little space for bed.

@@cristianirimia4649 well, it’s been 25 years I drive otr, driving International, KW, Pete, Freightliner and Volvo’s. Overall best ride so far are Volvo and Pete. For most of them these trucks have uncomfortable ride with a poor soundproofing. By the way they look good.

nu is een bed een persoonlijk iets natuurlijk , maar was wel ( ben wel ) benieuwd hoe dat zou moeten slapen, een kleine uitleg achter was op de plaats geweest :) maar verder een leuke video , en laat ik de dame in deze video ook meer als wekome heten ! ze legt het fijn en duidelijk uit , ook de kleine snufjes , ik vind dat ze het heel goedee gedaan heeft en hoop haar weder te zien 😊

Lowest fuel consumption you will find it in Mercedes also the shittiest gear possible . Followed by Volvo powerful comfortable but a nightmare to even change a belt and it might be the truck that likes to leak the oil all over the place in compare with the other brands, cheapest service DAF but you service allot all the time , the biggest cab MAN (might be the rarest truck I see in the service I work) , the power in Scania ,the truck I completely hate the most to work on (nothing comes out without the torch and swear, and the complexity makes it a nightmare for any mechanic to work on ) and so on... reliability... well that's a hot spot for all of them. They are all made to last 700/800thousand km, after that prepare your wallet to be massacred.
I have no clue about the new range from iveco, but the older models are somehow by the luck. I have seen some unbeatable ones but some simply don't want to work at all from new. Mercedes might be the same or better on reliability but... if you ask any driver to make a choice he will probably get the MAN.

@@raduberaru9369 Aqui no Brasil é o Scania o mais econômico em consumo mas, o que mais vai em oficina. Volvo muito bom, o mais vendido mas, sua manutenção é a mais cara embora vá pouco em oficina. MB melhorou muito em consumo e conforto 2013 pra cá e não tem uma manutenção tão barata mas, tem muita peça e mão de obra em qualquer lugar. Agora a Iveco aqui , muito discriminada e o que menos vende.
Although I'm huge fan of Volvo but I would take the Man, I like the practicality of it coffee ☕ machine and microwave come in handy. But as for comfort and safety I will go with the Volvo. I don't like those many screens futuristic look of the Mercedes some things needs to stay traditional. Especially those rear view screens I don't see a need for it but other than that the Mercedes looks good but still I will go with the Man I just love it
@@paulrider9514 Could be. But it is not sold by Dealership in west Europe. You can only service a F-Max on a few places. The Trucks shown at this comparison are all available in the Netherlands, and the western European Countries. That's the reason.
The conversion from camera to normal mirror costs 700 to 900 euro! And about the camera mirrors ask the driver's about them when it rains and you have water bubbles on the lens :)))

All very nice, but I have always found the 6x2 Scania to have better road holding and better placement of mirrors. (usually the better economy).
Scania and Renault t range have the best mirrors, wide angle on top, standard mirror on the bottom, can’t stand when the wide angle are on bottom.
