@@ahmadalwadi9156 I don't believe so. There's definitely a debate there but it's weird because it was during a covid online thing. At any rate it was only 1kg higher
Oh goodness, you talking about 60hours being so much and I'm coming up on 300 hours on Korpi that I started just after the co-op with Chainsaw and yourself 🤣
Not watching this!!! Cos I am binge watching the whole series after avoiding it to do just that! I love how Daggerwin plays and the secrets he reveals. Think I am up to Episode 13 so I wont be long. Thanks for a great series and something to do with my nights. You Rock, Daggerwin.
When looking up heaviest lifts, one keeps popping up: Paul Anderson's 6270 lbs (!) from 1957. Looks like he had lifted that weight by about a foot by basically standing up under it. How his spine remained a spine through all that I do not know. Heaviest deadlift currently is 501kg, 1104.5 freedom units. With that said, lifting a pallet is way more difficult simply because the weight is so far out. Personally I can lift 150 lbs next to my chest, however even an empty 50lbs pallet is a struggle when trying to lift it flat. Stability and leverage make a huge difference.
The current world record for the deadlift, one of the most common measures of pure strength, is 501 kilograms (1102 pounds) set by Hafthor Bjornsson in 2020. This is well above the 1,000-pound mark.
eddie hall still has the official world record sins it was lifted at a comeptition and not just in a home gym guinnes book of world records might write that hafthor did 501 but not official
My Dad told me a story that he was told that his grandpa, my great grandpa who was a mechanic (which I doubt was a body builder like today's world's strongest men competitors) lifted by straddling putting his fingers in the exhaust ports, a Ford flathead V8 into or out of a car. I don't know what those weigh, probably around 500 pounds. I think the most weight I've ever picked up was 200 pounds or more on different occasions (I don't anymore) & I'm not a body builder or a big guy.
Sad that it is the end, I have really enjoyed this series and I appreciate your work on this series a lot. So thank you so much. At least I have a new series to watch now 😁😉
I would think that picking up a pallet like that is more then a deadlift. Because a dead lift is just up to your hips and your standing still. So your not lifting it up to your chest and not walking with it. I would say the trailer would be more or less chest high and the pallet was probably carried 5 feet (1.5 meters) So in that would not even get up to 100kg .
Eddie Hall who won The World's Strongest Man Competition in 2017 did the 500KG world Record in 2018 I think. I also did 495KG on the DEADLIFT once when I was in college back in 2013 which nobody has beaten the DEADLIFT RECORD that I did back when I was in College Back in 2013 and I have ended up with really really bad back pain especially in my LOWER BACK which has caused me to struggle bending down on the odd occasion.
World record is 18 inch deadlift of 537.5 kg (1185 lb) in 2020 Worlds Strongest Man. But, in 2022 the same man lifted 549kg (1210 lb) at the Shaw Classic, at the same 18 inches. Not ground level to chest height of a trailer. I can lift 100lb from ground to chest height all day long, but I don't think I could lift even 300lb from any level 18 inches.
The most weight ever lifted I belave was around 1100ib by Eddie Hall. Might be wrong but that's what I rember it being. Someone can correct me if I am wrong
What's Dennis doing with the sunflower oil? Blimey!
It depends on what lift you're talking about. Picking up a pallet like that would probably be closest to deadlift where the record is 500kg.
Eddie hall the beast 😊
has Thor's lift still not been recognised?

Hey Dennis, we thought you were taking this Saturday off 😂
Thanks daggerwin. For this amazing series! Enjoyed every single minute of it. Thanks for putting so much effort into the videos.
Hahaha daggerwin. Eddie Hall would be amazed by your feats of strength. Keep up the great content. Love watching you and listening to your commentary.

sad to see Krumbach end but all good things must end.
Paul Anderson´s 6270lbs backlift might be the heaviest lift by a man ever. I think that the heaviest deadlift is Krzysztof Wierzbicki´s 1107,8lbs.
