Pat is sure Delia will continue her therapy. He doesn't know her, he really doesn't. Or he lies to himself. I figured out Pat's been the one pretending in this marriage - not Delia.
The jack/mary story is fascinating, especially to see what the expectations of relationships were back then. I'm totally team Johnny here, Jack was emotionally abusive to his pregnant wife, abandoned (and presumably did not financially support) the child, red flags everywhere!
I can see how you'd feel that way. The only difference is that (I don't know how long you've watched) that they started the Mary and Jack relationship immediately and we got to see how much he loved her and how fearful he was of being inadequate, like pathologically! Maeve knew he was hiding from fear of loving and being depended on and so she pushed the outcome she knew would serve all. A rough story for sure!
I could never be with a man that treated me like Jack did Mary. I can only assume that this was okay in the 1970's because this would not occur in 2023. I like Ryan's Hope a great deal but this one is hard to swallow without him actually proving he wants to change.

Give everyone room to breathe. Sounds good to me. Johnny's trying only because he loves Mary. It's a new start for all of them.
The first real Fenelli family moments. It's not a daydream anymore.
Happy Jack! That sure is a change !
Baby Ryan 😍😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🙌🙌🙌🙌

They couldn't move that camera off Rae's feet fast enough!
Uh oh. Maeve and Johnnie on the skids. And what's with Raes feet they look filthy
Maeve and Johnny are the best coupe on the show, maybe next to Mary and Jack and Nell and Seneca. I love when they argue.
Apparently, her pantyhose (UGH, I remember those!) got dirty from her shoes. Not the best look, agreed.
The dye from the insole stained her hose. Used to happen the first few times you wore a new pair of shoes.
Irish stew!
Johnny is correct here! 🙌👍😬 and Maeve is one to talk about interfering!!🙄😬🤦♀️omg....that is *ALL* *SHE* does!!!🙄😤
Mary and jack belong together.
