I have to agree with Johnny Ryan, Jack was horrible to Mary and this is why you need to be careful of who you make aware of your marital issues especially your parents, because when you forgive the husband or the wife your parents will never forgive or forget. This is why marriage should be between 2 people but for some reason I find Mary involves everyone in her martial business. PS I never watch Ryan's Hope before just started and I must say I am enjoying it, better than most of what is on at this time, however the production value was really bad, lol.
Is Johnny supposed to be overjoyed that a man that caused his Daughter so much unnecessary pain, sadness, grief, and humiliation, is back in her life? I don't think so.
