If someone's hasking it, there's no problem in installing a 500gb hdd in a xbox one s that has 1tb. It works perfectly. I hope that this info can be useful to someone :)

idk if you still answer questions in comments, but my bf recently punched his xbox and it stopped working. it stopped displaying on the tv and then completely shut off and won’t turn on again. any idea how to fix it or should i just take it in to be repaired?
I bought my Xbox one s digital copy about a year ago now, and my fan hasn’t been working since purchase, at first I thought it was normal and the fan was just quiet till I used a thermometer to see it was heating up to 400 degrees Celsius

After dissasembling my xbox one s controller and cleaning analog to solve stick drift, when i assembled it and tried to power on on button it shows no signs of life. When its connected via usb cable it works normaly. What could it be? Btw drivers are updated to the latest software.
My graphics on my one s all digital looks horribble in every game its blurry before it used to be fine but it is becuase i turned on standby mode because if i turned my xbox off without exiting the game if i could just turn it on and continue and it lags alot in games and freezes in fps type games like shooter games call of duty fortnite and apex legends.

If I press restart Xbox, the screen is black when I start it back up. If I press factory reset, it just freezes. And if I do offline update, it freezes at 1%. Do u have any ideas what is wrong with it and how to fix?
Remove the hdd from the xbox and format using a pc and try again. If this doesnt work your hdd is dead. Replace the hard drive and try again. Check the links in the description box if you need one

The T8 screws aren't going back in to the smaller metal piece. Can I still use the Xbox without it or no?
Yes you can but its not recommended. Loosen the T10s and try to fasten the t8s

Try replacing the power supply if that doesnt work its a mainboard/apu issue. We charge $90-$120 for this repair

The system would turn off if temps were that high. Are you sure its not Fahrenheit?

No since it does not have a paired disc drive logic board. You will not be able to install a disc drive in this Xbox.

what do you repair if you cant get the one s all digital to reset to factory and the OSU1 update wont work

The battery terminal isn’t being passed through the case probably.
