Winter camping with a generator, bunch of wimps. Spent 10 days this last winter skiing out in Colorado truck camping in my setup. And another 5 weekends on the north shore of MN at Lutsen during some very cold nights. No genny, just my deep cycle AGM, Wave 3 heater, and all the creature comforts of home, but in dead silence. Plan ahead people, keep the noise to a minimum and everyone will be happier!
Yeah, camped there in a tent in -15F in last Feb... no generator just double sleeping bag and some wheeezkey. All the babies with generators are just ruining it for everybody.
What a great day that was... honestly it was the most memorable ski run I've ever taken anywhere.... I chose to take a run down the beast and it didn't disappoint.... smooth untracked and waist deep. My only error was that I didn't put my snowshoe s back on and head straight up for another... Loni was so accommodating helping me find lodging so we could ski Saturday...we found lodging in Copper thanks to him and the Keewenaw chamber of commerce. The pow runs the next day were equally fantastic we were glad we stayed other than Saturday was a attendance record breaker....hey people know when to show up... expect that... look at it this way....my ski pants were so clean after 12 days of boot knees and waist deep powder up there... you can't get powder clean at your home hill...think about it. Bohemia pow the stain lifter....
That last scene about the generators encapsulates the camping experience there. They say its a parking lot, but charge you to camp there, then make up rules and hassle you. No “rules” posted anywhere. My experience was a lot less polite than this woman was giving to that guy. I would suggest finding somewhere else to camp than their “parking lot/camp site”. Best boarding Ive ever had though.
Cute! Skied Indianhead/Blackjack/Powderhorn a few weeks ago- actually had a 6" 'powder day" at Indianhead!!!! If I want to ski pow- Utah! Don't have to worry if lifts are running.

Just gotta say the riding footage is insanely well done. Mad props to Chris, Joey, whoever the hell else takes part in putting this all together.

Awesome videos. All the regulars seem so cool. Your music is crazy. Multiply song I gotta get it out of my head. And Fast! Leigh is neat.
Y'all just bought yourself a few new visitors with these vids!

Indian head? That's cute.
Cool, go jump on a plane and take a trip. Guess what, most people can't take a trip every weekend.
Prefer Black Jack actually!
I prefer Jackson hole 😉
