- I decided to take questions from people asking how I did any of the scenes from my Mario maker 2 videos and about 20 asked so I made a video answering all of them.

Holy crap! I honestly made this with the expectation that almost nobody would watch it or care but the response so far has been amazing!! I am very pleasantly surprised! Also a behind-the-scenes for this video: I was up until 5:30am working on it. I started at 11:30 thinking it'd take me 2-3 hours and it took twice that long😲

Another way to get the boom booms is with a black hole glitch :) that’s how I thought you did it
Same, but when I really started thinking about it, how do they move in sinc
Also, too many Boom Booms would lag the game. But in his video, the game was going smoothly. So, the only way to get so many Boom Booms without lagging the game is with the editing trick.

Rejected Update: Acid Flower
The Acid Flower will, when picked up, make you shoot acid at your enemies! However, the acid from the Acid Flower will corrode you over time! So you have to get to the flag quickly! However, most people don’t make it to the finish! :D

Rejected Update: Since there are no amibo costumes in Mario Maker 2, there should be mystery mushroom. It turns you into a Mario character chosen by the creator. However, if you see the character you are, you and the other one get pulled into a black hole. So don’t pick up one near bowser as the Mushroom could be him! Of course people will use it properly won’t they 😉
We noticed that when people can't get out of Super Mario Maker 2, they rage quit. So, to fix that, we bring back the home and power buttons and the exit course feature.
We also replace the restart level feature with the restart from checkpoint feature.
DGR and Dannyb is a perfect collab :)

Edit: There are glitches, that actually made some of this rejected updates possible.

1: The blind mushroom:
This makes you completely blind, not only on the level, but everywhere else, even outside the game
2: the five nights at Wario's gamemode:
You can make your own map, you have the option to do different mechanics from across all 6 games, you can also adjust the difficulty of everyone

Rejected Update Suggestion: Hot Garbage theme
Everything around Mario himself is "hot garbage" and the enemies are retextured as Anime characters and internet memes.
Here's what the course themes look like in Hot Garbage theme:
Ground: Green Hill Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog)
Underground: Larry's Cave Hotel (Hotel Mario)
Sky: The Airship (Among Us)
Underwater: Bikini Bottom (Songebob Squarepants)
Desert: Desert Palace (Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles)
Winter: Elsa's Ice Palace (Disney's Frozen)
Forest: Hot Garbage Jungle
Ghost Mansion: Spooky Scary Skeletons
Airship: Waluigi Pinball
Castle: Anime World

Rejected Update Suggestion: Anything can pop out of pipes.
You can't put some enemies or objects in pipes, so we decided to upgrade the pipes.
You can put literally anything in a pipe, even Koopalings and Bowser.
This is honestly amazing
I'm so glad you uploaded this, so glad. Now I know that when I wanna suggest a good idea for smm2 in RU, I should at the end say "And because of that feature, people would get too overwhelmed and will drive people nuts, and they couldn't program it. So there is no way Nintendo would've added that" (That's a tip LOL)
Rejected idea:
Pikmin! They collect everything in the level, including the flagpole and ground
Now we just need a video on the behind the scenes of the behind the scenes video.

Rejected Update Suggestion: The Super Crown
You can use a Super Crown on literally anything.
Brick Blocks, ? Blocks, Enemies, Bosses, you name it!

Here is a rejected update idea: There is a way to change some aspects for enemies. You can increase the amount of times you have to shoot and hit them before they die. You can also give them resistance to some powerups. A good example is that Boom Boom was made so you can't jump on him to take damage with the SMB2 mushroom. You will be forced to throw cannons at him to deal damage. A bad example is a Bowser Jr. can shoot a fireball and hit you in just a few frames.
I like creeper
Idea: Bowser Mushroom, you turn into a Bowser (like in Mario Odyssey) you can Shoot fire balls, Slash enemies, though hammers, and slam on the ground! This might be a good idea for some multiplayer versus levels!
I'm surprised it's all just edits, it looks so real! So good job with that!

Rejected Feature: Spin Cannons!
Press a button on the Cannon, and it will turn purple and spin! Turn it green to make it faster!
The cannonballs are really quick too! The slower purple ones are as fast as the red ones, so good luck dodging green!
Mam you blew up tons of remember when you streamed mm1 and had around 300 subs just wanna say congratulations.

Snake thwomp is a great idea. It would need to look different, perhaps borrow the green or blue from the snake blocks for it's style.

Letting people give theme-exclusive power-ups to enemies, which would have various effects, such as:
Master Sword: turn into Zelda enemies that behave like they're in top-down view
SMB2 Mushroom: Enemies can walk on Mario, but are also able to pick him up.
Super Ball Flower: Enemies become extra bouncy, and their projectiles act like Super Balls
Tanuki Leaf: Enemies gain a tanuki tail and the ability to hover
Frog suit: Enemies become faster underwater and move by hopping. Spikes can now grab Mario with their tongue, like a frog.
Cape Feather: Enemies can now fly and spin-jump
P-Balloon: Enemies float and move slowly, they become 50% larger.
Super Acorn: Enemies can glide and cling onto walls.
Propeller Mushroom: Enemies can get an upward boost and ground pound. Big enemies can kill pario using their sharp propeller.
For extra trolliness, make it so you're able to combine those together, and give them to bosses.
Rejected Updates 10: Can you do snake cannons? The cannonballs go in the direction of where you draw…

Could you make a Sunny Hot Garbage Assistant Sequel?
Probably not, at least not sunny. I covered most of the common garbage stuff so a sequel would just feel like more of the same
@@DannyBPlays you really do have a point. Sunny could try to prevent 2 Hot Garbage makers in Multiplayer mode as a twist however.
How do you make all of the audio clips for the enemies when they say nice when you get the nice coin

One thing for rejected updates, microscope mode. You are fighting germs and the creator has unlimited germs.

Idea: The Confusion Powerup, Your Controls Gets Reversed For 10 Seconds
Better idea: It reverses your controls permanently for the rest of the level, or, better yet, it permanently reverses your controls so in every level you play after that you have reversed controls.
Video idea: Super rejected maker
All rejected updates seen in the rejected update series are featured in super rejected maker! How about 100 multiplayer verses? Or the game and watch theme, or even the new clear conditions!

do you do all of the custom sprites in your videos? they look great
just one thing with custom stuff like enemies on 2d styles, the "Sprite to background" shadow is always at the bottom-right and doesn't overlap with other shadows, nor moves with the sprite, i see this mistake like A LOT when someone is trying to make a super mario maker feel with that detail, but it just looks out of place
Here's another good pitch: Friendly fire items, everyone wishes they can mess with friends like they do grabbing, stealing, and stomping, so, we give them the super fun power of powering up, on your friends!

Is there a way to do the green screen effect in other styles
Well, you can add the sniper bros in, well kinda, just replace the green in the textures of the hammer bros with black. If your advanced enough, you can code the bros to act like the sniper bros. So you can add them in, it just depends on how much you know

Rejected idea: Blue Shell! It will work in multi-player versus and it will attack the player in first place and it will insta-kill them. But if it is single player it will attack any enemy you want

If you have good programming skills, you could make a mod which adds all the rejected updates. (Apart from the ones which prevent loss of checkpoint progress.)

BFB is a show where teams of 8 are forced to do contests. The team that is last place gets one of their team members eliminated by people who comment on the episode and says who he or she wants to be eliminated. Everyone will get eliminated until there’s just 1 winner left.

For each rejected update, do you always pick from the comments and specify which are good or do you just find all the good ones and just spin them on a wheel?
