Hey, great guide. It's possible by the way to get a fifth frozen rune in the Gothik room. You need a shadow protection potion (normal should suffice) and another LIP to withstand 2 shadow bolt volleys from the Shade of Naxxramas in the hall before Gothik. You vanish right around the corner before Gothik.
Can confirm the bad rune position by Razuvious at the end can be looted with a bit of luck and timing. DO NOT START STEALTHED. Be behind the railing on the right side so neither he nor the patting cavaliers to your left see you, but also be close to the ramp. Pop evasion while NOT stealthed as he is walking past the nearest understudy on the right, then immediately stealth and move forward when he has his back to you. Get out a quick distract when he's next to the nearest understudy on the left and face him to the left wall. If he resists abort and wait for evasion to come off cooldown. Pop sprint while still stealthed and go along the right side to the rune. You should have about 5 seconds left on evasion. Start to loot and turn yourself toward the understudy. There will be a delay in Razuvious getting pulled which gives you some free time in the cast. I found there was about a second or two left in the cast when he ran at me. From there it's (probably) RNG on whether or not you get hit before the looting finishes, though it seemed like I finished right before the understudy got to me. You, of course, die immediately after, so put your gear in your bags ;)
To avoid bad Abomination Frozen Rune IDs simply check Abomination wing first, and if it has a bad rune position that you cannot loot then reset the id until you find abomination wing that has a lootable Frozen Rune.
Got to say, still a solid walkthrough, though getting past the Shades of Naxxaramas is definitely the hardest part for me. Everything must be timed perfectly, as you said, and it definitely matters where you distract from. An inch too close and it's all over. Switch to preparation rogue helped do this farm much easier with sprint and vanish x2 when things go bad.
You can actually get one more rune if you play your cards right in Gothic's room. You need to sprint past Instructor Razuvious on the opposite side he is patrolling. After that you just sneak through the weapons room and wait for sprint to CD. Once you're ready, sprint down the hall aggroing the Eye of Naxx, and pop a LIT, once you round the corner you can vanish and then be able to grab the last rune in Gothic's room.
Have you done that or are you theorising based on your raiding experience so far? All other gates to second boss of all wings are closed until first boss is killed
@@fp_ok I was able to get into the room myself, unfortunately right as I turned the corner to Gothic's room I noticed I no longer had any flash powder left, and suffered the fate of 10 mobs beating me to death.
I can confirm it is NOT needed after doing it full combat raid spec. I will say tho there is a glitch where if you die as you complete using the word of thawing that it will disappear and you get 0 runes. rip 350g for me.
You can manage as a druid with all 4 runes, just plan wisely with soulstones. Noth is tricky, I drank nature protection first, ran as far as I could with invulnerability and then placed a target dummy. It felt like a miracle but I managed to reach the boss room. I doubt I will be this successful on the 1st try next week
Just attuned my druid and will give it a shot today, cheers for the heads up that razuvious one is doable. Fifth rune is at gothik and that one is perhaps doable as well as druid and soulstone
I speced every damage reduction, stealth increase talent as I don't use the rogue I don't need him to pewpew so I just went ahead and picked all talents that can improve the farm
I've been doing these rune farms on other nonstealth classes and I still can't find a pattern, it will be very easy to confirm when I have a rogue ready on Wednesday, once u are saved runes seem to move on daily server reset but I if you are not saved I don't know if u can force change the location with reseting id.
@@Kierenm87 ive been doing that on my saved chars and a guildie of mine also tried doing that but even though trash would reset rune stayed where it was. It is possible that we gave up on that idea too fast and we just got unlucky that same rune respawned at the exact same spot few resets in a row

It's hit and miss for me too, sometimes they reset then wait for him to start moving giving you time to complete the loot and sometimes they insta go back to u, i haven't figured out what exactly is wrong

No matter how much i try that shadow keep killing me. I manage to get Anub, Noth and Abomination runes, but can´t find a solution for those shadow and their stealth detection. If you can give me some tips or advises i´ll be very happy. Nice video btw
Hiding in the corner (any corner that is not in line of sight) after vanishing is the key to losing shade, I'm guessing that you vanish either too early or too late. Maybe try the alternative tactic that is shown in the upload after this one near the end of the video.
mobs that have stealth detection also have invisibility detection, but i guess its worth testing which i will next time im there, going past gargoils is not that expensive, but before i nailed down pathing i did chug a ton of lips testing stuff out
I personally farmed them solo on my mages, you have the options to farm them with your guild or to buy them in trade chat or ah. Compare the prices of both on ah to see if it's worth it. One word of thawing on average turned into five runes for me.
We don't know yet how market will fluctuate on frozen runes, dadguilds need to equip entire dps roster with all 5 epic frr gear, three crafted and two quest, just to have a shot of killing saphiron, and most guilds aren't on saphiron yet so we won't know a while at what final price they will set. On average rogue alt can get 20 frozen runes per reset atm

You don't need MoD. Just get items that improve stealth.

If you are an engineer you can throw target dummy at them and it will give u time to loot it. I haven't had the rune there yet to test things myself
I just did in this second reset, basically u get to your rune and unstealth, as soon as u get in combat u vanish and loot it
@@fp_ok I've tried three times now this way and no luck. The rune was at the 2 o'clock position if this makes sense. Diagonal from an understudy.

For Razuvious, can you LIP before looting the rune or will the melee attack interrupt it either way?
U can't click the rune if u are immune from lip, we tried it
My Abom wing rune was blocked by one of the packs, came back the next day and the location of the rune changed. Picked up runes did not respawn.

I'm at anub room, and there's no frozen rune. Is there any chance the runes don't spawn?

I stood as far away towards the back from anub as possible to loot, with batching managed to loot with no lip
I just used the vanish reset technique. he disappears and resets in about 20 seconds. plenty of time to get the rune and vacate.

They respawn on raid reset, East Coast and West Coast servers have same reset time and its the later day of the reset
