Tip I learned from my aunt who sells scentsy... Stick the plate in the freezer for about 5-10min.. The wax will contract. Flip the plate upside down, EVERYTHING literally comes out...
I save the wax and add fragrance oil to it in any fragrance and it works like new!! You can also pour the wax into a glass container with a new wick inside and create a candle!! :)
Oh the citrus peeler is an absolutely brilliant idea!! Thank you! I have been struggling to remove wax from scentsy warmers for ages.. I always try to remove it while it's hot and end up spilling it everywhere. Thank you for this video!
At last a video that tells u how to clean out the wax from the burner I was waiting for the wax to disappear lol, thank u for showing how it's done :) x
Went to a scentsy party today and she (the consultant) just puts 3 cotton balls in the dish while wax is warm, lets it sit a couple seconds and boom, no more wax. Took 5 seconds, she even demonstrated. No waiting for it to cool.
Well geez. I had no idea it was that easy. Thank you so much for a quick and to the point video. I'm new to Scentsy and this is brilliant. Again thanks. :)
Thank you!! I've been wondering how to clean this thing!!! Worked perfectly with my fingernail file. (I was careful no to push too hard). Thanks again :))
hum, I'm not sure what is wrong with my warmer dish because mine is stuck solid!. I've scraped and scraped. I will try to look at a few more videos. If you have anymore ideas, I would love to hear them. Please let me add, I think you are adorable the way you give your demonstrations! Happy New Year! Peace, Sharon
Hello I have a night light warmer, and when I was trying to change the wax, it spilled all over the back and body of the warmer. I was wondering if you have any better way to clean the wax off..it is quite hard to wipe off, esp because i have the whoot owl one and has all these details that the wax gets stuck in....:-(
Hi .. I am a new consultant haven't had my first party yet. . But I bought the Hope plug in warmer from my first party and I spilt wax love you berry muchon the side of it I got most of it off but now it is stained with red how can I get it off ? .. I definitely know now not to dump wax out of a frosted warmer of any type but how can I get it completely off?
If some kitchen towel with warm water doesn't work you could add a little washing up liquid to it and be a bit firmer when you rub. Can you slide a finger nail along the ridges to brush it out? I wouldn't recommend anything more abrasive as it could rub the paint off too.
Get it warm and then flip it over, and the wax comes right out into the trash. No scraping needed. If you have residue, warn the dish and drop a cotton ball into it.
I had this happen to me also with red wax and I used Scentsy Counter Clean and it came right off. I had the Sunkissed Citrus one. It cost $10 and is so worth the money. amandapendergraff.scentsy.us/Buy/ProductDetails/33017
Hi, I am off the grid and would luv to use the warmers and diffusers - if I can figure out how to will become a fan, a big fan, in fact will pledge to join and become a sales person - cuz there are many of us whom live off the grid. Oh! Boy! someone may just accept my challenge and help those of us not plugged into the usual outlets:)
A tip for cleaning them, may be to do it often? I could see the dirt setting and then people wouldn't be able to get it off with out some type of cleaner. Another idea someone could try is Mr. Clean magic erasers.

Travis West omg I just tried this and it worked perfectly. The wax just fell out. Thankyou man.
YOU LIFE SAVER
Word? I'm gonna try that today
I just try it and it didn't work. Broke the plate because I smashed it on the counter
Just be careful on some dishes you dont crack them and end up coming to buy a new one. I get daily emails from USA customers needing old dishes x

I've done that with mine and it still leaves a brown residue after a while....:/
@@sophias300 that borwn residue is from fruit oils that get hot. Just clean with a magic marker etc x

I've been looking for this, thank you :)
I was very confused at first when the wax wouldn't disapear from my Scentsy xD This is very helpful! Do you just throw it away in the regular bin?
Marcos Torres Yes would have worked
This was very helpful. It does work great. Thank you.
That’s such a good idea
This worked perfect!!! Thanks!
Omg thats so much easier than the way ive been doing it lol. Thanks
You're lovely. Thank you.

Worked like a dream! Thank you!
What if wax gets stuck in those holes (like on your plain white one) from a spill over and it's red... asking for a friend
Also it’s easy to take it out. If you turn off the warmer.. wait 15 minutes and it comes out easier than that!
simple way and very easy -put in a freezer plate with wax for an hour. Take it out of freezer and wax would be easy to remove with no problems

Very helpful, thank you!
It worked:)) Thanks!
i just run the bottom of the dish under hot water and the whole chunk of wax just pops out in one piece
It really works... thanx a bunch!!!!!
However, how do you get the old smell out of the pot from the old wax?
thanks so much =D new senctey now
can u re-use wax?
Mine doesn't come out so easy. I have scrape the it out which is a pain to do. Got to be a easier way

Thanks I shall give it a try
Get it warm and then flip it over, and the wax comes right out into the trash. No scraping needed. If you have residue, warn the dish and drop a cotton ball into it.
How would I get wax off my etched core please. My big bummy dog nocked it and wax has gone in the grooves
I'm dealing with this too 😂
So the wax never disappears while it's burning?
No it doesn't, the wax is just a carrier for the scent and remains in the dish even after the scent has gone.
***** Thanks a bunch! I've always wondered. (:
MintMakeup Ur so pretty MintMakeup! Thanks for +1ing my comment!
Thank you! :D
I usually put a Paper towel in the dish and it soaks up the wax as it melts
I use kitchen roll thats super fast!

With the hot water
Heat up the wax and just use a cotton ball stick it in the hot wax it will soak it up. Easy peasy..
Great Information!!! Thank You!! : - )

2019 from Cali!!!
iono what I’m doing here tho..
I love you
You thing you good
so if the bowl on top of the warmer is slightly burnt i damp it and wash it offand works?
A tip for cleaning them, may be to do it often? I could see the dirt setting and then people wouldn't be able to get it off with out some type of cleaner. Another idea someone could try is Mr. Clean magic erasers.
Pop the top plate in freezer. Pops right out.
Anyone ever have an allergic reaction to scentsy?
isn't the warmer hot? (when she was showing the melted wax)
I use a knife works just as good.
I’m best friend with the owner of scentsys mom aka Chavonne Lout ;)
to much talking ... just do it already
