      Fucken right. The division was stacked. An era where Mike Tyson is ranked 5th.
      I think usyk and fury are the only ones in that era that crack the top 10

    • @WhiteyMcCrackerson
      @WhiteyMcCrackerson 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@terrykirk6951 fury would have done better but there’s no way of knowing for sure. Wilder’s best win was a 40 year old Ortiz who was ahead on points before being knocked out, so I don’t think he would he as dominant. Probably near the bottom of the top 10 or beyond. Guys like Tommy Morrison would have cleaned him up easily. Fury’s best win was a 39 year old Klitschko and wilder so the jury is out on him too. Neither makes any effort to fight the best. Everyone who fury beat since 2018, would not have made the top 15 or even 20 in the 90s aside from wilder. Chisora? Swartz? Whyte? Wallin? Francis? None of these guys would have cracked the top 20

      @@terrykirk6951wilder would have been on the level of a Mercer or a Morrison - ie not in the top tier of Lewis, Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe, but a good challenger that makes for interesting fights. His record wouldn’t have been nearly as good. Never would have won a belt. He’d be the type of guy to knock out a Herbie Hyde, get a shot at a belt and then get wrecked by a prime Bowe.
      Fury would have been in the top tier. He’s a complete boxer - except for not having great power. His boxing skills are really impressive and his size would make him a nightmare matchup for most. Would lose to a prime Tyson, but then again we didn’t see a prime Tyson a lot in the 90s. In shape Bowe beats him, but out of shape Bowe may have lost to him. Lennox would have handled him easily. But he would have beaten the likes of MM, old foreman, ibiabuchi, Briggs etc.

      Tommy had a massive left hook and nothing else. He got gassed early, had no jab, no right hand to speak of, didn’t go to the body, didn’t throw combos, had no defense, no chin and made no adjustments. He was anything but an excellent boxer.
