Hell, I could have made it pink and purple polkadotted if she thought green was a stupid color for grass. I never could understand parents who destroy their children's birthdays.
the daughter would leave her in retirement home if she kept going in life not considering her child's feelings
She wanted to cake for her daughter or herself? 💀
yikes, what a karen she was
Sounds like she wanted to get a deep discount or free cake. Not gonna happen Karen from the Land of Entitlement. Princess is going to elope faster than Princess Anna from Frozen.
The mom couldn't afford the cake, but she saved face with the daughter by putting on a show.
She’s embarrassed because she didn’t want “stupid” to see it after they got back together
This. She went back w/ stupid.
This is probably it right here.
My thoughts exactly lolol
she could've just eaten the top and the rest before he could see it she's a dumbass
I love that you waited, were kind, then still found a use for it!
"Stupid" is probably happy to not be with "Inconsiderate" anymore. 😂

I thought the cake said ‘I’m not stupid anymore’ and I was like damn I want that cake when I graduate lol
Now we know that he wasn't stupid.
To make up for the wasted cake a little
Thanks for all the time and effort you put into your baking and your videos (:

Good job bro
Maybe $45 depending on where she lives but that’s so sweet. ❤Lol
I sure as hell hope she already paid for it and you got to keep the money.
You could do a “bread pudding” with those pieces. A cupcake shop in my area used to do that with left over cupcakes and it wax the best thing I ever had!
I’ve never seen a comment section give this much money to a content creator before. But she deserves it. I feel bad for her and I give her credit for her patience.
That caked looked delicious so it's their loss

That looks so good I would still eat that even if it was 6 days old lol
Someone made a similar video to this and posted on FB and the comments are WILD! They're so angry that they don't get like half of the cake as one slice. 😂 the worst part is that it's all old people and they're saying it's too much icing but simultaneously saying they'd be angry to get such a small slice.
That sucks. Well, it’s their loss because that cake looks delicious. I would kill for some of that icing and I wish I could order a cake from you.
Yes I would eat that up in a second 😂. And it was so kind of you for donating her money!! :D
It also implies they got back with their dumb ex
Nah they left their stupid asses
the cake looks so yummy customers LOSs
what is that thing on your comment?
Sometimes, you are just a part of someone else's train wreck.
If I would have come across this cake in time it would have been for me. 😊❤
ugh it sucks that people ruin it for others. id die for a cake of yours 😢❤
this comment section is exactly what the world needs its so encouraging to see

This is our culture now: The person is done with you so doesn't even have the respect to let you know they don't want the cake anymore. Sad, but true. Glad you are putting the deposit rule back in place.
Nailed it on it being the culture now. It’s only getting worse 🙄 There is no respect left for other people’s time energy or money put into it . Such a sad world we live in.
This can't be right. I see all this videos about "adulting." :-)
Yes I'm a private chef and when this happens it's sad. Heck we had 10 no shows at my wedding last month. Confirmed people w a plus 1 8 no call no show. Cost me 2000$ in catering. 😔 it's our culture.
@@992Eirini Wow, that's just awful. I wonder if some day in the not-too-distant future people will have to put down a deposit to go to a wedding, fully-refundable once the wedding is over and you showed up.
Sorry your friends and family did that to you - just awful, but not at all surprising in today's world, sadly enough.
We live in the culture of narcissism. I only care about me, myself and I.
What a waste! That lady should have had at least the basic decency to cancel her order so you can resell it earlier. I hope he breaks her heart again. Honestly food waste in this economy should be a crime.
Damn! I’m so sorry that people are like this! I can’t fathom people who do this? Like would you like someone to waste your time and money and products? No you wouldn’t, so don’t do it to other people. How disgusting
She didn't cancel, she stiffed you on your work and her verbal committment.
What does that mean
@@Rubygeee Fr
??????
I'm confused, can someone explain what you meant?
@@squishroll2183 Canceling would have been for the lady to CALL her and let her know she no longer wanted the cake… INSTEAD she gave her the run around, lied and said she would come tomorrow and then BLOCKED her..
Thanks!
You guys are the best 😭😭😭😭
Sooo sweet bro 😭💖
everyone is being so kind this is awesome

Nice cake love
Hearing the "hello loves 😊" always makes my day
i love how we all collectively know what happen
You need to remember her phone number. If she tries to order again. Block her!
I am pretty sure MiMo has a bannlist for customers like that but since she won’t take that much orders anymore I guess it’s not that important anyway. But it’s a good idea to block them in any way!!
I'd call from different numbers lol
That cake inside looks soft and delicous. 😋
Obviously she took the stupid back, that's why. 😂
Also always take a deposit. People will be more respectful if they know they have something to lose as well and it increases the chances of them honoring their value of your services. ❤
Yupp......atleast take half the price of cake in advance.
Agreed! We do this with our products. There was one order that they never came for even after paying half for it, but it was their loss I guess
Should have 24 hrs policy to pickup or resell 🥺🥺
Kind of hard to resell that design. Need to start payment due at time of order pickup unless canceled by baking time. That way you can still resell or use the cake, but otherwise people are more motivated to pick up what has already been paid for.
Don’t add letters. 5 minutes max grace time if the client doesn’t pay in advance. 98% of the cake should be ready just in case.
@@rebekahweber2413 Hard to resale a double layer chocolate cake?? Bcuz without the decorations that’s all it is. The icing could have been taken off and redone..
@@GoldPrince2468 5 MIN??
@@000fffff
I got to help my friend with a cake. That's not enough time but there should be a grace time for cake pickup under the guise of "searching" for the cake.
That's so rude and disrespectful of the client ! Gosh, at least notify immediately when you don't need the cake anymore and block afterwards if your cowardly self can't handle it.
A real pity, it's such a gorgeous cake 💙 !
I'm so sorry this happened to you. I've been there, so I DEFINITELY know how you feel. Your cake looks amazing, though! ❤
I'm so glad the community came out and helped you recoup the costs. Such a shame people make orders and just never show up. It's such a waste of time, materials, and energy.
True enough, that's a nice gesture. Still it might have been nicer to ask the would be client if they would want a make up cake. Assuming nothing truly nefarious, it's always good to make up when possible.
@@SeekingTheLoveThatGodMeans7648 I suppose but I also understand why she wouldn't try to reach out again, given she already tried so many times for the original cake, and the would-be client blocked her number. I just hope she's not too discouraged from this and continues to bake like she always has.
Yep! I do commissions and I ALWAYS take a 50% deposit. Get paid for materials, don't take losses like this because you want to be nice.
New sub. Dang that cake looks so yummy 😋
PERCY JACKSON WOULD LOVE THAT CAKEEEE!!!!!
they didnt even just ignore you... they ignored you for DAYS, then said "actually yeah ill come get it" then blocked you... absolutely insane lmfao please always get deposits for your cakes some people have commitment issues
Apparently not when it comes to "Stupid". 😆
Remember: the cakes not dry, your face is dry.
Tho this one might actually be dry because that person didn’t pick it up on time…
The customers face is sahara desert dry
🙌🏻🙌🏻
Nah after that many days its deffo a bit dry
You can prevent that by storing it in the fridge or freezer, its what my family does after a big even like Christmas
@@AnGeLiQuElOl538 she probably did but it's a few days old, it's a fact that cakes kinda become sour or dry after like, the second day
I do not like chocolate cake or frosting but that cake looked GOOD damn. Dense moist looking goodness
I'm glad you didn't stay silent about it and instead turned it all around with a video and ended up making more money ❤❤ I love seeing entrepreneurs get a W
What kind of a person goes and blocks someone as kindhearted and good as Mimo?! They should make amends and pay her. It’s not too late to do the right thing here.
Agree. Just pay what you ordered.
I'm a cake decorator at a grocery store and I really HATE it when people don't pick up their orders. I also hate it when they try to steal a cake. One lady today got caught trying to get away with an almost $40 cake.
I have to ask, how on earth do you steal a CAKE? Where would she hide it? I’m certainly glad she didn’t get away with it, though!
@@aliceryan6015 She went through the self checkout and had it in her buggy with her coat over it. But the attendant caught it and made her pay. And told me about it when we were both getting off work.
Here's another good one. A customer pulled a cake out of the freezer then went to customer service and wanted a refund for the cake they "bought" but didn't have the receipt for. 🙄
a cake of all things.
I'm sorry but why is a grocery store charging $40 for a cake 💀. Girl at that point go to a real bakery. Embarrassing. Must have been whole foods or something.
Prolly got hammered and ended up with stupid. I still would have bought and served the cake to him and all our friends. 😃
