I love the orange one but I don't like Quartz because I hate having to remove the whole case just to swap and remove the batteries. Are the edges really that sharp that'll be a problem?
They will never cut you, but they are rougher, at least on the example I had, then they should be.
@@watchreport It it gonna be uncomfortable that you'll feel like it's scratching u or just a slight difference from a regular metal case watch?
Great review man, any idea how to insert the strap into that small titanium bit? Mine seems to not go through as the small peg is lifted up
Nvm I figured it out! It's a great watch. For anyone interested the sharpness will not be felt at all, it sets very comfortably on the wrist. Beautiful watch !

How tough is this watch, regards to knocks and scratches, working outdoors in forestry? I've just ordered it.
Forged carbon is shredded carbon fiber mixed with resin. Think of a G-shock. The case can take a decent amount of abuse but it’s not impervious. Of course it has a sapphire crystal so that is highly scratch resistant (not scratch proof)
Is the carbon case more shock resistant than titanium?
Luka Legin I doubt it. It is a carbon and resin case. If anything it is as shock resistant as the titanium or steel or less so. Let’s be real, the newer versions of the INOX have strayed far from the original idea, but as a company they need to push out more models and with different materials.
If you drop it the shok will be less than the heaviest watch ....
I was in a AD the other day and the bumper felt cheap and looked stupid. That's just my opinion, though.
I like the look of the CF/Ti but can't justify buying a duplicate watch in a different case material that isn't a copper alloy, Ti, or Au.
It's cool and light, without a doubt.
We like the line of INOX watches but have been complaining about that bumper since the first once came out. Especially on the first one, touted as being so ridiculously tough and all the torture tests done to it, why would you need a rubber bumper for a watch that is supposedly so tough without it.

@@watchreport I am calm!! IN FACT, THIS IS PROBABLY THE CALMEST I'VE EVER BEEN!! I AM JUST REALLY EXCITED THAT THEY DID THE RIGHT THING ON THIS DARK FACE, WHEREAS THEY BUTCHERED OTHER DARK FACED MODELS (IN MY OPINION) WITH LIGHT CoLoReD DaTe WiNdwS LIKE AN iNsAnE PERSON WOULD!! this is just my opinion. In all honesty I really like the look of a date window that matches the dial. The stainless models don't come this way. I also like the luminox altacama 1901 but the white face also has the wrong color date window.

Why is there NSWE labeling on the rubber thingy if the watch doesn't act as a compass. Design brain fart imo.

It's obviously marketing wank, just like calling this Inox (as any material will oxidize when pushed).
