Alan Has anyone spoken to you about diet and health? You are continually in and out of hospital. On different meds to reduce blood pressure in your eyes. Sorry to say yout diet is a horror story. Processed food, sugar, fat, oil, cholesterol, carbohydrates. Tonight 'lashings of nachos with cheese' ("because its easy"); and mayo. Appeared to be enough for a family of eight. Three larger layers. With your worsening health and losing eyesight how about moving to a radical shift to Whole Food Plant Based diet. It works for weight loss and improving health conditions. Every video you are oroducing massive servings of pub type food, or fish and chips etc etc. Never dark green to be seen. What about fasting also? Let food be thy medicine, and medicine by thy food".
I was thinking the same, you are eating yourself to death. Intermittent fasting and carnivore, no carbs, no sugar, moderate daily exercise, like walking. Only saying because we care.
Hi, I have contacted my GP and asked for help as you are right I am not looking after myself properly. We still don't know what is causing this but it is a sure bet that it will have something to do with my diet. This is not an excuse but I have lived with bad habits for a number of years now and I can't break the cycle. I do intend to do something I don't think I could stick to a plant based diet but I have been reading up on fasting. It may not be the food that you see me eat that's the immediate problem. I need to stop with a lot of other things as well. I'm taking the eyes as a yellow card.
It's OK I don't take offence to any of these comments, mainly because they are true. I do and will do something about it. I have been reading the 5:2 diet book and that looks very appealing ATM. I have also got hold of a blood sugar testing machine to get me back on immediate track. Let's see how I get on. Wrong time of the year but then again when is the right time.
@@AlanAndChelle Well done Alan, and best of luck. Ive struggled with my weight since I retired and became less active. I totally agree the thought of a plant based diet would do my head in. some people are prepared to do anything to rinse a little more time on the planet , as for me I'm here for "a good time not a long time " so a happy medium is order of the day
Those nachos look yummy! 😋
They were thank you.
Alan
