He isn't in your face. Are you suggesting Charles has him killed so tabloids won't run stories about him. They can still do that if he's dead. I don't think the King can still have his brother killed in the UK or throw them in the tower. If Charles did either of those things, it would be on the front page of all your favorite tabloids.

So much for modern "democracy " and other fantasies. Also don't look to Parliament either. Every single UK Member of Parliament has to SWEAR LOYALTY to the reigning monarch before taking their place in the Commons. In fact years ago Gerry Adams of Sein Feinn won the election and was a Northern Irish MP. He refused to take his seat in the commons as did other SF MPs because they refused to swear loyalty to the queen. It is His/Her Majesty's Government after all. Just like the United States is held together by its Constitution and little else, it is monarchy that holds the UK together and nothing else. Abolish the monarchy and it falls into chaos. What is a replacement 🤔 name for a country called the United KINGDOM??

Neil Todd a victim of Ball unfortunately took his own life. The Mountbatton situation also happened in the 70's where young boys were being taken from Kincora Boys Home in Belfast to a ring of so called Aristocracy in big houses. Andrew Lowney a former MP has a lot of information on this and Mountbatton's involvement. Mountbatton was Charles's favourite Uncle and the man who introduced Jimmy Saville to the Royal Family.

Andrew might not be liked by the public and he doesn’t sound like a nice person BUT can we all get off this man’s back about getting him out of Royal Lodge? IF he has a 75 year lease on the property, he has the LEGAL RIGHT to stay, provided he observes the tenant’s obligations on the terms of this lease. How would all leaseholders in the UK feel if the public decided they could be thrown out of their properties that they have a legal right to occupy and for which they may have spent vast sums of money to make into their home?

    • @MalikaBourne

That might be so ...but, I don't know British landlord-tenant laws. Would the same laws apply to crown property or not? It seems like a decent investment to me, a 75-year lease. Does the Crown take on the responsibility for the upkeep or to replace appliances?

@@MalikaBourne Malika, no one but the Crown and Andrew know what the true relationship is but from the media, there is a firm message that he had a 75 year LEASE granted. This is a FREEHOLDER-LEASEHOLDER relationship rather than LANDLORD-TENANT. it all really depends on what is on the lease, which is a LEGAL CONTRACT. Normally, appliances, repairs INTERNALLY etc are down to the leaseholder and the freeholder would pay for structural repairs to the property, so it really does depend on what is on the lease. I suspect the fact that the King hasn’t managed to terminate the lease May mean Andrew is probably sound to stay there on a legal basis. Only way the King can get him out is by Andrew breaking term of the lease consistently or by negotiation with him (possible compensation to get him out).

I can easily see many reasons why he settled with Guiffre, and not one of them have to do with his guilt or innocence. In fact the settlement included his "making no admission of guilt". The civil (not criminal) court case would have detracted from the Queens Jubilee, the possibility his daughters could have been deposed, as well as the horrendous legal costs involved in litigation in the USA.
Guiffre's own lawyer is reported to have said " Virginia Giuffre would be unlikely to accept a “purely financial settlement” to end her sexual assault civil lawsuit against the royal, " - yet clearly she did.
Should Andrew return to public life? No. Is he an idiot? Yes. But I do not believe that his family should be judged for spending time with him. He has also lost what he probably values most - his position. He is pretty much persona non grata.
