Awesome dude, I met him at the reefapalooza in Secaucus NJ after he gave a seminar. Really had a great time, as it was my 1st reef hobbiest convention & won a flame angel. 😊
I have always been intrigued by Julian Sprung's reef tanks, I am a big fan (excuse the pun) of Gorgonians. Thanks for taking the time for bringing us this video.
I think this is the most food options I’ve seen on these videos. The clown fish story was interesting. Even the pro’s have success stories and suffer losses of different kinds.
Great video with a reefing legend. I’ve just taken delivery of a 72” 34” 26” glass tank - the largest I’ve owned in 16 year so was fantastic to see what Julian had done with a similar dimentioned tank.
@@WorldWideCorals Thanks, predominantly SPS from my existing system. We’re currently building a house (in Western Australia) so will have to wait until finished before I can get into it. I’m toying with the idea of a Montipora dominant system.
That copperband defo needs fattening up. Having said that, the tank is beautiful. Stunning. Im turning green with envy just looking at it. The angels are just :o gasp. I love how eveything has a story behind it.
Back around 1991ish, Julian narrated a VHS tape about reef aquariums. I'd love to know it's name, if it's archived anywhere, and what the music was in the opening credits. I've literally been obsessing over this for years, haha! Thanks so much for any info. ☺
I can’t say this enough. I love seeing all these different reefer aquariums. Everyone has their own unique tastes and ways to care for them.
That's why we love doing these tours, everyone has a different method and their tanks are looking amazing!
It always amaze me how humble, friendly and soft spoken julian are...
We love filming him because he is so nice and knowledgable!
Always a treat to see anything Julian Sprung.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
He was super nice and awesome to film! Thank you for watching!
Probably the best video on Julian’s reef. Would love to get a rundown on his maintenance though out of curiosity!
I am always happy when someone post Julians tank. Just amazing reef and Julian is a really good speaker with a bunch of information and stories :)
He's super knowledgable, we always learn something from filming him!

Thats right! Even the pros make mistakes and have failures :)
CASPAR is in the refrugium at the 19:36 mark on the timer. BTW, I love the refrugium as a display tank

The journey is what makes it fun and enjoyable!
I saw Casper he was in the smaller tank from Julian sprung. He appeared, and then disappeared. The tank was called a reef sump
