Chicken Chaap is a permanent fixture and a popular dish in Mughlai restaurants.
In Kolkata, the Chicken Chaap is treated with the utmost respect, and surely falls into the category of comfort food, often paired with roomali roti, lacha parantha, or naan.
Ingredients:
✅ Chicken - 800 gm
✅ Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp
✅ Orange food color - 1/4 tsp
✅ Salt to taste
✅ Onion - 2
✅ Cashew Nuts (Kaju) - 15
✅ Coconut Powder - 2 tbsp
✅ Poppy Seeds (Posto Dana) - 1 tbsp
✅ Makhana (Fox Nuts) - 15
✅ Tomato - 1
✅ Curd (Dahi) - 5 tbsp
✅ Water - 2/3 cup and 1/2 cup
✅ Oil - 1 cup
✅ Green Cardamom (Choti Elaichi) - 5
✅ Cinnamon (Dal Chini) - 2
✅ Clove (Laung) - 5
✅ Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
✅ Garam Masala Powder - 1tsp
✅ Whole Fat Milk - 1/2 cup
✅ Meetha Attar - 2 drop
