I started watching the NBA in 2008, that Orlando Magic team instantly caught my eye, I loved their 4 shooters around a dominant center prototype and became a fan of JJ Redick, that team was ahead of it's time, they broke a bunch of 3 point records at the time and it took the league almost a decade to catch up.
jj was nt even playing that at that year. most of the time hedo had the ball and playing pnr with lewis and dwight pietrus and alston were playing more

Looking back it was awesome being able to watch those Orlando Magic teams in my high school yrs.
I know Stan’s last yrs were really bad. That’s how it happens w/ a lot of coaches. But he deserves more credit IMO.
He managed a bunch of big personalities in ORL. Dwight, Hedo, JJ, Rafer Alston, White Chocolate, Vince Carter, Gilbert Arenas 😂.
It was some fun & crazy years. Thank God we had some laid back dudes like Rashard, Jameer, J Rich.

Weird enough Hedo sounds way smarter and cool when speaks English. Whenever i hear the guy speaking Turkish he comes off as a classic dumb sports guy. Maybe something to do with the topics he talks about and his position in Turkey but yeah.
When using a second language, you will more likely use proper words, as opposed the slang terms that people use when they are more comfortable with the language, leading to more formal speech.
