    Notice how he played the black to the far jaw... no repeat of the 85 final, eh? lol

    Scary how young they look and then you remember 2005 is nearly 20 years ago which is very very scary.

    One of the best matches ever for me. Bcos you never knew who was gonna win till the final frame.

    This could have been another 1991 masters final with Davis replacing Hallett. 7-1, 8-2 and 8-6 were the same scores in each. In awe of Davis holding himself together with that 66 clearance to make it 9-6 rather than 8-7 and another agonising frame to play.

    • @parksyist
      @parksyist 4 года назад +1

      Yeah cos he beat them and saw off all the 80s players

      If it was the 80s people would want hendry to win Davis was 48 here he was out of his prime for 15 years now

    I think it was the greatest rivalry in snooker. Tho many wud argue Davis v A Higgins, O'Sullivan v Hendry and O'Sullivan v J Higgins were better. But two men with 13 world titles between them? Can't be bigger than that surely

      Hendry Vs o Sullivan for me

  • @jasonhall4734

    And also potted the same black as 85 final. If only hed got that hed have 7 titles

    Just go to show that davis was always as good as hendry, he just lost his confidence. Then 4 years later he beat Higgins at wc when he was world no1. Greatest still

    What's the big deal about not putting balls down the cushion into the corner pockets everyone avoids them like the plague ''WHY

    • @iconredesign
      @iconredesign 2 года назад +2

      Snooker tables have ultra-tight pockets and rounded jaws that will reject basically everything except those within a tiny margin of error.

    • @Bloxdio_God
      @Bloxdio_God 6 месяцев назад

      Because you can hit the cushion early and miss.

    Doesn't matter how good you are or what record you have broken 'there is always someone who is better 'a couple of examples 'roger bannister the 4 minute mile it was beaten '''Michael Schumacher 7 world championship s now Lewis Hamilton will beat it ''and so on 'nothing is impossible and what they said about Mike Tyson he would never be beaten and he was 'so your only as good as the time frame you live in 'your record will be beaten sometime

    • @paulbennett4009
