The ability to use the notes we have at our disposal in the western musical system is an absolute art form .... Nigel's tunes are right at the apex of where a catchy riff meets musical interest ... and all done with a drone which is the original harmonisation ... lovely 6ths and 2nds in just the right places .... such a shame so few understand.
Wondered why this was no longer in my ‘favourites’ when it was there only a few days ago. 20 seconds in and realise it’s a new version. Sounds amazing Nigel.
That's great!😊 Please tell me, how do you sound the instrument? One microphone? Or a microphone and you also have a built-in pickup on the instrument? Thank you in advance for the answer! It's very important for me to know.
Tell me please. What is the misura size of your hurdy-gurdy? And what kind of strings do you use? I'm making a hurdy-gurdy for myself and I'm having trouble with the size. Thank you in advance for the answer. Your creativity is very inspiring! Especially ruclips.net/video/z1NCAOhtkvw/видео.html

Exactly. There hasn’t been a single tune of Nigel’s where I’ve not heard more and more each time I listen. It’s hypnotic.
It is fascinating to me how many tones this instrument is capable of! Just lovely 🥰
This is what it sounds like on an amplifyer... holy shit it doesnt even sound real but its amazing
A deep view into the soul of a better world
Superb Mr Eaton, wonderful hurdygurdy but kept getting distracted by that sublime bookcase.
Nothing in the world’s faster than me seeing a new Nigel Eaton vid and immediately clicking on it.
Superb work as always.
This is honestly enchanting in an almost literal sense. An absolutely magical sound and song, thank you.
I love the flourish at the end. Great foot-stomping tune! 👍
Very nice, Nigel. Interesting to hear the Aplo in action as well!
